Purtroppo la possibilità di fumare liberamente in tutto il locale, senza un adeguato sistema di ricambio dell'aria, da all'ambiente una nebbiolina persistente che alla lunga può creare fastidio. Ottime le birre alla spina, anche se, purtroppo probabilmente per serata sfortunata, la rossa era completamente sgasata. Historic pub in Pontedera, always cozy atmosphere with soft lighting and typical Irish pub style. Unfortunately, the possibility of smoking freely in the entire room, without an adequate air exchange system, gives the environment a persistent mist that in the long run can be annoying. Excellent draft beers, although, unfortunately probably unlucky evening, the red was completely out of place.

Ampie sale con biliardino. Tutto in stile pub irlandese. Servizio buono. Possibilità di mangiare panini piadine e patatine, anche i dessert. Ho incontrato anche uno youtuber. I gestori gentili e disponibili a scambiare qualche chiacchiera. Fantastic place for rockers. Videos projected from rock to punk to metal. Beer for all tastes, red blonde and double malt. Skip smokers. Large rooms with foosball. All in Irish pub style. Good service. Opportunity to eat sandwiches, wraps and chips, even desserts. I also met a youtuber. The managers were kind and willing to exchange a few small talk.

Da ragazzina era il mio pub preferito e lì ho tantissimi ricordi di sabati sera alternativi e divertenti. Devo dire che oltre al colore degli ambienti è anche cambiata la clientela e il "mood" del locale stesso. Ai tempi la maggior parte dei clienti erano tutti rocker, musicisti, metallari (io tra questi) e l'ambiente "cupo" del legno scuro e poco illuminato aveva anche il suo perché, anche la musica trasmessa era rock. Oggi è stato ritinteggiato in verde e sono state aggiunte decorazioni di design più moderno e chic e la musica (almeno quella sera) era ambient-soft (giustamente cambiano i tempi e i gusti della clientela ). Tutto sommato le migliorie apportate al locale non sono male, ma le luci così soffuse rendono l'ambiente troppo scuro e sonnolento. As a young girl it was my favorite pub and I have tons of memories of alternative and fun Saturday nights there. I must say that in addition to the color of the rooms, the clientele and the "mood" of the place itself has also changed. At the time most of the customers were all rockers, musicians, metalheads (me among them) and the "dark" environment of the dark and dimly lit wood also had its own reason, even the music transmitted was rock. Today it has been repainted green and more modern and chic design decorations have been added and the music (at least that evening) was ambient-soft (rightly times and customer tastes change). All in all the improvements made to the place are not bad, but the soft lights make the environment too dark and sleepy.

Il personale è gentile e ti fa sentire subito come a casa tua. C’è anche una magnifica sala rossa che crea un atmosfera particolare Si può mangiare oppure bere un drink. Consigliato ?
