★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How much do I recommend this place? We ate here twice in three days after promising ourselves we’d visit as many places as possible.
Swordfish (smoked or not) carpaccio. Mussels. Gnochetti. Sorbetto with Vodka. Apple Crisp. And all the wine they recommended was exemplary.
The service is traditional and exceptional at that. After two visits we knew all three of the staff and they knew us. We laughed and compared notes between orders. It was clear they loved their food, hustled to take care of their customers and delivered an outstanding dining experience for us. My husband is lactose intolerant and our server knew (better than many Los Angeles servers) what was possible. I can’t wait to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose this place mostly because the reviews said it was quick but actually what impressed us was the quality of the food. For example, the beautiful cooking of the vegetables that came with the chicken. The scampi and leek risotto was also simple and excellent. Smoked tuna was delicious.

Dogs welcome. The owner has two beautifully behaved dogs. Friendly service.
