Don't miss to try the Ripasso "Il bugiardo", in my opinion one of the best Ripasso of Valpolicella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant is beautiful and food is very good but the whole experience was ruined after we gave 100 euro bill for 73 euro total and were asked to pay by credit card instead. Manager (Im assuming) gave a very strange explanation that they have some problems with change! I really don't understand how a restaurant doesn't have 20 euros? He didn't even apologize for it. It gave us a very unpleasant feeling that they take us for some dishonest people. Instead of looking forward to having dinner there again or recommending this place to anybody, we left quite upset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very pleasant staff, maybe because we are foreigners. However they are very pleasant with local people. Tried to rush us with choice of food, no basket with bread (for us) nobody suggested wine. Maybe this is all about not very good waiter, but we felt not very good there.
Place is very beautiful, surrounded by mountains, in the hurt of valpolichella valley. Food is good, wine is really good. They have really exciting sparkling wine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of those where you end up dinner having to go to McDonald's because everything else is closed and they couldn't be bothered to give more than 3 pices of pork to you for dinner.
Wine is good but the rest couldn't even taste it.
