★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convoluted series of elevators up & down to get to platforms as a handicapped, stroller or large luggage. A few undesirables going through the garbage on the platform. Very long line to get a train ticket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice station but the public transport bus connections are bad. There is no bus to the Sardinia ferry port for example. Taxi was 19 EUR.

I got off the train in Livorno lost needing to be in Stagno and the US Army Military Police came and found me in a tactical vehicle, while I was so embarrassed yet so proud I could count on someone for the first time in my life so lost in a foreign place not knowing the language the train depot staff almost lost there minds over the miscommunication as they dialed the Stagno Carabinieri, which dispatched a Chevy Blazer type SUV with carc-paint. I had the warmest conversation with an MP comforting me after holding myself to a standard of being able to do it on my own, a 14 Transportation Bn way of doing things explains why I had so much to do with no help. Thank you Google for helping me figure out my past and why I compose on these reviews. History, as I was made US Army Italy, Delegate Leghorn/Stagno. Thank you to all the staff at the Rail, I miss seeing and working with you! MCT Livorno (Movement Control Team Livorno)
