M	Monica Visentin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Internet indicavano da asporto anche....al primo impatto ci siamo sentiti pezzenti a chiedere una frittura da portar via....nell' attesa abbiamo gustato un ottimo spritz all Aperol ...non è "prodotto locale" quindi giusto pagarlo 6€....hanno strappato un ottimo prosecco per prepararlo....quindi lode....unica pecca....potevano anche portarci due taralli assieme.....va beh...personale gentile....buona la frittura...asciutta....30€... Totale 2 spritz e una frittura per due 42€....boh On the Internet they also indicated takeaway .... at first glance we felt beggars asking for a take away fry .... in the wait we tasted a great spritz at Aperol ... it's not "local product" so just pay it 6 € .... have ripped a great prosecco to prepare .... so praise .... only flaw .... could also bring us two taralli together ..... okay ... nice staff ... .good fry ... dry ... 30 € ... Un semplice effetto di luci trasforma il lido in un ristorante di alto rispetto. L’atmosfera è il massimo anche perché siamo sempre in riva al mare. La Serata, poi, non era troppo umida, quindi perfetta. Le portate ECCEZIONALI. Noi abbiamo optato per i piatti del giorno con prodotti tipici salentini, dal formato della pasta, ai pomodorini al torrone leccese, sapientemente amalgamato in uno spumone da chiusura cena. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!! Nice evening!!! It's not just a beach, it's also an EXCELLENT restaurant. In the evening, the transformation into a restaurant is more than tangible. A simple light effect transforms the lido into a highly respected restaurant. The atmosphere is also the best because we are always by the sea. There Evening was not too humid, therefore perfect. EXCEPTIONAL courses. We opted for the dishes of the day with typical Salento products, from the pasta format, to cherry tomatoes with Lecce nougat, expertly blended in a spumone for closing dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!

V	Veronica Ferrarese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non vivo più in Italia da diversi anni, il Salento lo percepisco ormai da turista, conosco il Lido York probabilmente dai suoi albori e devo dire che ultimamente è diventato davvero un posto grazioso dove poter prendere un caffè, un aperitivo fronte mare, dove poter lasciare i bimbi giocare sulla sabbia in un piccolo playground. Una nota davvero stonata e per cui do’ solo una stella è dovuto al fatto che siamo arrivati intorno alle 12.15, c’era molta gente ai tavoli, abbiamo aspettato il nostro turno e ci siamo finalmente seduti. Vedevamo i camerieri andare avanti e dietro, servire i tavoli vicino a noi, ma quando è venuto il nostro turno per ordinare, dopo circa 15 minuti di attesa, la cameriera con aria scostante ci ha detto che non facevano più servizio al tavolo e che se volevamo qualcosa dovevamo procurarcelo noi. Non c’era nessun avviso, lo stesso è stato apposto sul nostro tavolo molto dopo che eravamo seduti, né tantomeno il personale si è preoccupato di avvisarci a voce del fatto che non stavano più servendo facendoci, così, aspettare inutilmente, se lo avessimo saputo prima non avremmo aspettato che arrivasse qualcuno per prendere l’ordinazione. Conclusione: posto carino, ma servizio scadente. Spero che sia questa recensione motivo di riflessione per i gestori. I have not lived in Italy for several years, I perceive Salento as a tourist by now, I know Lido York probably from its beginnings and I must say that lately it has become a really nice place where you can have a coffee, an aperitif facing the sea, where you can leave children play on the sand in a small playground. A really out of tune note and for which I give only one star is due to the fact that we arrived around 12.15, there were a lot of people at the tables, we waited our turn and we finally sat down. We saw the waiters going back and forth, serving the tables near us, but when it came our turn to order, after about 15 minutes of waiting, the unfriendly waitress told us that they no longer did table service and that if we wanted something we had to get it ourselves. There was no notice, the same was affixed to our table long after we were seated, nor did the staff bother to verbally warn us that they were no longer serving making us wait in vain, if we had known. first we would not have waited for someone to come to take the order. Conclusion: nice place, but poor service. I hope this review is food for thought for the managers.

A pleasant discovery, on Saturday, with many other places closed, this lido offered us an impeccable aperitif reinforced with many specialties served with great professionalism and courtesy and an excellent final dessert.
