Ora, mentre la bellezza del posto è oggettivamente rilevabile, per motivare il mio giudizio sul servizio ritengo sia utile spiegare cosa mi è accaduto. Mi sono recata al Lido Mediterraneo ieri sera per l'happy hour che si svolge tra le 19 e le 21. Lo scopo era prendere un aperitivo in compagnia, ma il menù mi ha scoraggiato perché diverse portate prevedevano (come è giusto che sia in una località marina) crostacei e pesce che io non mangio. A quel punto ho espresso il mio disagio alla cameriera che gentilmente ha provveduto a fornirmi - a costo zero - un rinforzo delle portate che avrei potuto gustare senza problemi. Passando al menù, l'aperitivo prevedeva focaccine, pizzette, cous cous vegetariano, quinoa con gamberetti e pomodorini, polpette di gamberi e zucchine, ecc. (Elenco completo in foto) Non solo: un piatto intero era dedicato alla frutta con una selezione di frutti esotici (dragon fruit e passion fruit in testa) e locali (anguria, melone). La lista aperitivi, alcolici e non, è nutrita. Io ho provato uno Spritz Exotic, molto buono. Agli astemi consiglio l'Amantea a base di ananas e arancia. Un'ultima parola sull'esperienza: anche l'accompagnamento musicale è stato piacevole perché i brani trasmessi dalle casse erano soft e al volume giusto. I have rarely found such a perfect combination of location and service: both the first one is suggestive (terrace on the beach with a splendid sea view and minimal furniture with attention to details) as the second is attentive to the customer's needs. Now, while the beauty of the place is objectively detectable, to motivate my judgment on the service I think it is useful to explain what happened to me. I went to the Lido Mediterraneo last night for the happy hour which takes place between 7pm and 9pm. The aim was to have a drink with friends, but the menu discouraged me because different courses provided (as it should be in a marine location) crustaceans and fish that I do not eat. At that point I expressed my discomfort to the waitress who kindly provided me - at no cost - with a reinforcement of the courses that I could have enjoyed without problems. Turning to the menu, the aperitif included scones, pizzas, vegetarian couscous, quinoa with shrimp and cherry tomatoes, shrimp and courgette balls, etc. (Complete list in photo) Not only: a whole dish was dedicated to fruit with a selection of exotic fruits (dragon fruit and passion fruit in the head) and local (watermelon, melon). The list of aperitifs, alcoholic and non-alcoholic is fed. I tried a Spritz Exotic, very good. I recommend the pineapple and orange based Amantea. A final word on the experience: even the musical accompaniment was pleasant because the songs transmitted by the speakers were soft and at the right volume.

I primi, invece, sono buoni. Il prezzo è giusto, considerando che si è attaccati al mare e con un piacevole venticello. The restaurant of the Mediterranean beach is a good restaurant that has a menu of sea and land. The starters are complete and the quality is average. The former, on the other hand, are good. The price is right, considering that it is attached to the sea and with a pleasant breeze.

Staff without experience, that gave importance only to elder couples near us and ignored us completely just because we were a young couple even though we left a tip and the elder couples left without giving them a tip. You have to improve your service and treat with respect all clients not just the ones who you think will leave you a tip!!
