Ci hanno messo ad un tavolo poco stabile,le posate,i piatti e i bicchieri erano di plastica cosa che nel 2022 con il tasso d'inquinamento altissimo non è per nulla piacevole. La pasta era fredda ed era poco piacevole,alcune persone hanno trovato anche dei capelli nel cibo. Il servizio è stato pessimo,non consiglierei a nessuno questo luogo
 I went on a school trip. They put us at an unstable table, the cutlery, plates and glasses were made of plastic which in 2022 with the very high pollution rate is not pleasant at all. The pasta was cold and unpleasant, some people even found hair in the food. The service was bad, I would not recommend this place to anyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo festeggiato la cresima di mia figlia e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi ricevendo i complimenti da parte degli invitati. Meravigliosa accoglienza, servizio professionale e cibo superlativo. Abbiamo pranzato a bordo piscina, pietanze originali ma allo stesso tempo legate alla tradizione siciliana, ingredienti freschi e naturali, cura ed amore nel preparare i piatti. Tavolo della torta allestito in maniera elegantissima a pochi passi dal mare creando atmosfera davvero suggestiva. La Signora Roberta, responsabile dei banchetti, ed il titolare della struttura si sono prodigati per farci sentire davvero in famiglia. Grazie per aver trasformato un momento così importante in un meraviglioso ricordo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Playa is certainly not amongst the most beautiful beaches in Sicily, but if one does not want to go very far from Catania it is a decent option. This Lido is expensive, 12€/person and kids older than 4-yr pay half the price. Parking at the place is convinient at 3€ for the whole day, although leaving the parking area will be a challenge for most non sicilians as the place will be jammed with as many cars as possible to make a profit. The place is great for kids because the sea is quite shallow near the shore and they also have a nice playground. The reason for this price is that one gets two beach chairs (the type you can lie down with) and a big sun ombrella, which is absolutely life saving. Food was also not expensive (something around 3-4 €/plate of pasta or meat) but don't expect much of it. Altogether for a family of three a day at the lido comes around at 40-50€, including the view of Etna from the sea, which luckily is still for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have asked for the prize of fish before ordering. The waiter said 40€. Then when the bill arrived the fish was 90€. We asked why and the reason was that the waiter is not responsible for what the chef prepares. Biggest rip off ever
