Il problema è che è piccolissimo ed alcune famiglie considerano la loro cabina come la loro casa, quindi monopolizzano tutto. C'è bagno e doccia che sono comodi. Courteous staff, inexpensive pedal boats. For an hour and a half they ask for € 18 including the cabin. The problem is that it is very small and some families consider their cabin as their home, so they monopolize everything. There is bathroom and shower which are comfortable.

Non è un lido all'ultimo grido ma una struttura che accoglie un target più familiare e confortevole senza la necessaria presenza di musica ad alto volume o altri fastidi che magari attirano le fasce più giovani. Prezzi inferiori rispetto ai lidi più blasonati ma da cui non ha nulla da invidiare. Con 6 euro a persona si hanno sdraio e ombrellone. Cozy and well managed. It is not a last-minute beach but a structure that welcomes a more familiar and comfortable target without the necessary presence of loud music or other annoyances that perhaps attract the younger bands. Lower prices than the most famous beaches but from which it has nothing to envy. With 6 euros per person you have deck chairs and umbrella.

Nous avons payés 10€/personne pour un transat et parasol (le week end) et 8€ la semaine. Eau claire, belle roche (attention prévoyez des chaussures pour l'eau, ça glisse, le resto à du désinfectant en cas d'accident ;) ), très calme. Possibilité de snack avec des prix démocratique et affiché (chose pas très courante en Sicile). Vous pouvez vous y rendre les yeux fermés! Nous logions à Catane mais nous n'avons pas hésitez à faire les 25min de voitures pour y retourner une seconde fois. Possibilité de faire du kayak sur place ou de marcher deux minutes vers la station d'à côté pour faire de la voile ou du paddle ! Au passage n'oubliez pas de demander Giovanni. What to say except ... wouaw !! Top place! Family resort, masterfully managed by superb people! We paid 10 € / person for a deckchair and parasol (the weekend) and 8 € the week. Clear water, beautiful rock (be careful, bring shoes for the water, it's slippery, the restaurant has disinfectant in the event of an accident;)), very calm. Possibility of snack with democratic and displayed prices (something not very common in Sicily). You can go there with your eyes closed! We were staying in Catania but we did not hesitate to take the 25min drive to return there a second time. Possibility of kayaking on site or walking two minutes to the next station to go sailing or paddle! By the way, don't forget to ask Giovanni.
G	Giu Sca on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Lido la Giunca è il posto perfetto per trascorrere una giornata al mare, è un Centro Balneare incastonato nella Riviera dei Ciclopi, tra il castello di Aci Castello e i faraglioni, montato su una scogliera di roccia lavica dove il paesaggio è uno spettacolo della natura.... mare cristallino e tramonti mozzafiato. Il lido offre un grande spazio, lettini, ombrelloni, servizio di noleggio canoe e un bar ben organizzato, ottimo l'accesso al mare dalle scalette adatto per le famiglie con bambini o persone anziane. Sono ritornata in questo lido dopo diversi anni e mi sono trovata molto bene è rimasto un posto ben frequento.. anche la gentilezza dei proprietari storici è rimasta tale. Lo consiglio! Lido la Giunca is the perfect place to spend a day at the beach, it is a seaside center set in the Riviera dei Ciclopi, between the castle of Aci Castello and the stacks, mounted on a lava rock cliff where the landscape is a spectacle of nature. ... crystal clear sea and breathtaking sunsets. The beach offers a large space, sunbeds, umbrellas, canoe rental service and a well-organized bar, excellent access to the sea from the ladders suitable for families with children or elderly people. I returned to this beach after several years and I found myself very well, it has remained a popular place .. even the kindness of the historic owners has remained so. I advise!

I	Ingel Marcellino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A family-run lido (bathing beach), basic, simple, not fancy and so not expensive for just a few entries. Tho, can be a lot less expensive if one rents a changing room/cabin (wooden palafitte on the lava rocks shore), for a month or entire summer season. You can even rent a beach bed on the "solarium", deciding which one and in which place/corner they will book it every day for you regardless if you are coming or not. That place is yours and will le left empty. I taught my son to swim here. They know him since childhood and every time we go they will give a big hug welcome as if he was their nephew! Sad thing of this last summer (2018)is that the "big" boss is dead, and so' this year there was a very tangible sadness in the air. I also spoke with the lady boss, who crying has told me that now her purpose of living was gone...as after they worked hard, their whole life, to then now enjoy old age with this "retirement", she alone(without her husband, cox she has children and nephews) doesn't have the mood nor the meaning of be there without him.

G	Gillian Burmester on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, friendly, family run place. Less trendy than other lidos along that stretch, but that worked well for us with our pre teen children. Very reasonable prices - 12 Euros for 2 beds plus umbrella. Great snorkelling off the lido, plus very reasonable kayak and pedalo hire. Small bar serving drinks and food. Showers and usual facilities. But more importantly we were made to feel very welcome by the owner and the other members of the team, and so we returned every other day in between sightseeing excursions while staying in Aci Castello.
