Nei decenni si è sempre distinto rispetto ad altri licei dei dintorni come il migliore per la preparazione dei propri studenti. Rispetto ad altri licei del centro di Roma accoglie spesso molti studenti che provengono da zone meno centrali e addirittura da fuori Roma. Facile da raggiungere grazie alla limitrofa fermata della metro A Lepanto ed a innumerevoli fermate di bus ed alle linea del tram 19. Oltre al Classico ha anche l'indirizzo Scientifico e Linguistico. Peccato che a volte alcuni docenti che vi insegnano pecchino un po' di "Hubrys" e facciano pesare agli studenti di non essere adatti al prestigio della scuola che frequentano. Persino la gestione degli addetti scolastici lascia desiderare. Vi è chi pensa di lavorare o di studiare nel migliore liceo d'italia... purtroppo per lui non è neanche tra i migliori di Roma ???
