La struttura è situata in periferia, all'interno di un più ampio plesso scolastico ospitante anche gli istituti tecnici (ex geometra,nautico ed industriale) e da qualche anno anche un'ampia palestra.
I locali di recente costruzione ospitano al loro interno diverse aule di grandi dimensioni, dettaglio non indifferente viste le condizioni in cui versano numerose strutture scolastiche pubbliche.
Al suo interno è anche presente un laboratorio digitale all'avanguardia a disposizione degli alunni delle classi dei vari indirizzi di studio.
