This library is well stocked and the staff are always very friendly and willing to help. Plus, the children's department is beautiful. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho girato diverse librerie di Trieste, altre devo ancora visitarle, ma finora la Ubik situata in Galleria del Tergesteo resta la migliore per offerta, disponibilità e anche location. Quando si entra in galleria e si vedono i banchi di libri suddivisi per tematiche è gioia pura. Inoltre, ricchissima l'offerta di libri dedicati a storia e cultura balcana, mitteleuropea e soprattutto locale su Trieste, Carso e Friuli Venezia Giulia in generale: si trova praticamente tutto, o quasi.
I have toured several bookstores in Trieste, others I have yet to visit, but so far the Ubik located in the Galleria del Tergesteo remains the best in terms of offer, availability and also location. When you enter the gallery and see the benches of books divided by theme, it is pure joy. Furthermore, the offer of books dedicated to Balkan, Central European and above all local history and culture on Trieste, Karst and Friuli Venezia Giulia in general is very rich: you can find practically everything, or almost everything.
