Non sono esperta di antiquariato, ma mi sono rivolta a loro via mail per avere informazioni riguardo un disegno antico visionato tramite la loro pagina web che volevo regalare; mi hanno risposto prontamente e una volta in libreria, sono stati molto gentili e disponibili anche per la spedizione del disegno incartato. Consigliatissima! Charming and welcoming bookshop managed by the Cicolini brothers. I am not an antiques expert, but I contacted them via email to get information about an ancient drawing viewed through their web page that I wanted to give; they replied promptly and once in the bookstore, they were very kind and also available for sending the wrapped drawing. Highly recommended!

Invece, accennando alcune domande da "neofita", il proprietario ha saputo illustrarmi e spiegarmi tantissimi aspetti interessanti del meraviglioso mondo dei libri antichi. Ne sono uscito culturalmente arricchito e soddisfatto. É bello trovare cosí tanta passione e cura del cliente. Ho comprato solo un libro, é vero, ma pur avendo speso economicamente danaro, ne sono uscito arricchito, in altro modo. Queste realtà vanno preservate, valorizzate e sicuramente sostenute. As a "neophyte" of book collecting, I bought a small Hoepli volume in this lovely bookstore. I expected to come in, pay and exit. Instead, mentioning some "neophyte" questions, the owner was able to illustrate and explain to me many interesting aspects of the wonderful world of ancient books. I came out culturally enriched and satisfied. It's nice to find so much passion and customer care. I only bought one book, it is true, but despite having spent money economically, I came out enriched, in another way. These realities must be preserved, valued and certainly supported.
