Toyota Yaris diesel . Domani porterò la mia auto dal mio meccanico di fiducia spero che non ci sono danni. Many of the independent gas stations do not take your American Visa credit card unless you are using a large national brand of gas. This forces you to use cash. Maybe it was a coincidence but I put a €50 bill in the gas machine and only needed €32. To get my money back I had to wait for the gas owner to return to the gas station an hour later. The bar that operates in the same location as the gas station does not provide assistance for cash return. Maybe it’s like this in many gas stations but this was my first experience with the situation in Italy. I’m sure the owner is making a whole lot of extra profit with travelers having to catch a plane and ignoring the credit that they left at the gas station.
