Fin da subito è riuscito a farmi sentire a mio agio nonostante le plurime insicurezze e a non farmi abbattere davanti agli ostacoli. Mi sta conducendo in un “viaggio dentro la musica” con molta competenza e tenuità, con un approccio orientato alla pratica, attraverso la quale impartisce nozioni teoriche e rende così le lezioni stimolanti ed esaustive. Suona il piano e ha padronanza dei programmi di produzione, i quali usa spesso per esemplificare i concetti che spiega (senza limitarsi al nozionismo) o per comporre esercizi, non riducendo l’insegnamento a ripetizioni meccaniche e monotone ma rendendolo multiforme e fruttifero. Essenziali sono il suo gusto artistico, la sua sicurezza (che denota competenza) e la sua passione, sentimento che, sì, traspare ma, cosa più considerevole e complessa, riesce a trasmettere con una didattica tanto appassionante e viscerale quanto velatamente tecnica e incisiva. Inoltre ha una vasta conoscenza del settore musicale anche al di là delle musica in quanto tale, così da poter soddisfare ogni dubbio o curiosità anche esterni al puro insegnamento. Lo consiglio vivamente, anche per chi parte da un livello bassissimo come il mio; se dovessi, lo sceglierei sicuramente di nuovo senza esitazione. Leonardo is an excellent teacher. He is leading me on a "journey into music" with a lot of competence and tenuity, with a practice-oriented approach, through which he gives theoretical notions and thus makes the lessons stimulating and exhaustive. He plays the piano and has mastery of the production programs, which he often uses to exemplify the concepts he explains (without limiting himself to notionism) or to compose exercises, not reducing teaching to mechanical and monotonous repetitions but making it multi-faceted and fruitful. Essential are his artistic taste, his confidence (which denotes competence) and his passion, a feeling that, yes, shines through but, more considerable and complex, he manages to convey with a teaching that is as passionate and visceral as it is vehemently technical and incisive. He also has a vast knowledge of the music sector even beyond music as such, so as to be able to satisfy any doubt or curiosity even outside the pure teaching. I highly recommend it, even for those starting from a very low level like mine; if I had to, I would definitely choose it again without hesitation.
