★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though the apartment is new and the owners welcoming and polite, I unfortunately have to give a negative review because of the extremely loud and constant noise from the street (scooters) which is accompanied by an intense smell of fumes coming from those scooters. The noise stops sometime around 11pm but resumes before 8am. There are no "real" windows in the flat (they use metal bars for security reasons, feels a bit like a prison) and those windows are not properly insulated (for this level of noise). The flat is located on a steep point which makes carrying luggage but also everyday back and forth to the center complicated. (you have to climb up the equivalent of 4-5 floors to go from Dante metro to the flat). The price is also not competitive, especially for 2 people. For the same price you can find flats with balcony & view, more quiet, and above all I would NOT recommend to stay in this neighborhood. You don't feel neither safe nor comfortable. Check Vomero or Chiaia. In any case thank you for everything and a simple recommendation: invest in better sound & light insulation
