★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Servizio pessimo, all’accoglienza il cameriere in maniera molto sgarbata ci ha indicato il tavolo dove accomodarci. Tempi di attesa infiniti ( due ore e mezza per due portate di pasta e un secondo). Dopo tutto questo tempo è passato anche l’appetito !!! Esperienza veramente disastrosa
 Bad service, at the welcome the waiter in a very rude way showed us the table where to sit. Infinite waiting times (two and a half hours for two courses of pasta and a second). After all this time, even the appetite has passed !!! Truly disastrous experience

Cibo: leggermente cruda la pasta ma ottimo il secondo il dolce.
Prezzo: eccezionale 3 primi 2 secondi e 3 dolci con calice di vino solo 84 euro.
Location: beautiful and sea view
Food: the pasta is slightly raw but the main course is excellent.
Price: exceptional 3 first 2 second courses and 3 desserts with a glass of wine only 84 euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to eat at Le Terrazze on Easter Sunday and it was a very good lunch. We where a group of 7 persons and we all enjoyed the food and the service very much. We recommend Le Terrazze.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One if not the best pizza in the surroundings of Messina. Also, prices are very affordable and the location facing the sea and Reggio Calabria, especially during summer, sets a nice atmosphere and makes you enjoy your dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, I stopped by this restaurant. I asked if they had a menu in English. They didn’t. And that’s ok, I understand that, I’ve translated a menu with Google before. And it’s part of the fun of being on vacation in a foreign land. But the attitude that was given to me after I’ve asked for the English menu should’ve raised a big red flag. But I’ve decided to stay. That was my mistake.
I ordered a pasta dish with shrimps, and a small bottle of dry white wine. About 30 mins later, the waiter came back. From what I could understand, they didn’t have the wine that I had selected. And again, from what I could understand, he was going to bring me another wine. But he then brought me a sparkling white wine.
My dish arrived. The food was terrible. I believe the shrimps were frozen.
When my bill arrived, I was surprised to find a 1.50€ ”coperto”, charge. The waiter looked embarrassed when I asked him about that extra charge. He explained to me the charge by showing the placemats, the utensils and the glasses.
It’s not the amount of 1.50€ that bothered me, it’s the principle.
In all the countries I’ve had the pleasure of visiting, that was a first.
I know that service is included in Italy. That being said, it is my pleasure to leave an extra as tip if the experience is good.
After that whole experience of feeling that I have been screwed, do you think I left any?
