Ci torneremo.
Lido well stocked, clean and with a nice restaurant inside. Convenient access to the sea. There are two swimming pools of different sizes, for adults and children. Unfortunately, the only drawback for this covid period is to schedule the entrances to the pools every 20 minutes. A little expensive but satisfied. We will be back.

A really nice and relaxing place almost seems to be in Greece .. shame about the pools a bit small and shallow

—— We visited Le Mar just after it opened, 3 years ago. We had a lovely experience and we were looking forward to going back this year. Despite the higher access prices, which usually may indicate a higher quality of the services, we were surprised to see that infact that was not the case this year. The grass, so green and lush three years ago, is now no more than soil. The palm trees are in a bad state and not looked after. The ants crawl up to the sunbeds/towels because people are now allowed to eat at their parasols rather than taking snacks and lunch at the tables at the bar like it used to be three years ago. But what was shocking today, was the careless of the management when I made them notice that in the bigger swimming pool there were more than 60 people, where the max number was indeed 13! When I complained about the safety of the children, including my own, the manager (likely the owner) shrugged off and said “it’s ok, what you see it’s just a number (referring to the board clearly stating the max number of people allowed in the larger pool), turned his head to the other side and ignored me. He could not care less, and did nothing (including the safeguard there with him) to decrease the number of people in the pool. Shocking and I will never go back to this lido. Here’s a photo of the pool with over 60 people.
(Premise: I left this review yesterday July 30th on their Facebook page. The owner replied, I replied further expressing my discomfort and today the functionality to leave reviews on their Facebook page has been disabled, and my post deleted) We visited Le Mar for the first time, it just opened, 3 years ago. The experience at the time was so positive that we looked forward to returning this year. Although the access price has significantly increased, suggesting a better service performance, we were disappointed to note that this was not the case this year. The grass, kept very well three years ago, is now quite loam. The palms have dried up, the ants are everywhere on the sunbed and the towel, because unlike three years ago when it was allowed to consume food only at the tables of the bar, now they let them eat at the umbrella positions where, inevitably, crumbs, fruit and other, they attract insects. But what I found most shocking was the carelessness of the management, and the lifeguard, when I pointed out that in the largest pool there were more than 60 people, when it was clearly written that the maximum capacity allowed was 13 people! When I pointed out their lack and the possibility of personal danger, especially of children in the pool (including mine!) The manager told me "lady and what do you want, don't look at that number (13), that's it. .. ”then he turned his head and ignored me, letting people go into the water. Total disregard. The photo shows more than 60 people. —— We visited Le Mar just after it opened, 3 years ago. We had a lovely experience and we were looking forward to going back this year. Io ci tornero' l'anno prossimo.
Le Mar Village second year of subscription to the beach, the best in the vicinity between S.Spirito, Palese, Giovinazzo and Molfetta. Of course I also associate the Pole Pole restaurant-pizzeria. I recommend it to everyone, whether they have small children or teenagers. I'll be back next year.

DO NOT COME HERE. My wife and I decided to visit based on the reviews. We arrived at the reception and the staff seemed to not know whether they could let us in. Then after some discussion the staff told us we had to pay 12 EUR per person if we wanted a bed. We agreed to this and got escorted to a beach bed on the grass. There is no actual beach and the view to the left is of some old factory which was really depressing. When I go to the bar to order drinks, they make me wait for over 10 minutes before addressing me, even though it’s not busy. I place my order but the drinks are not being made. I am literally being ignored so after a while, I leave with no one having helped me. The other smaller bar also tells me they cannot make me a drink even though I see they have the ingredients. This is the most rude staff I have encountered on my entire trip in Puglia. They discriminate against non-Italians. Stay away!
