Abbiamo scelto di soggiornare per la seconda volta con Le Contrade per via del trattamento superlativo avuto la prima volta. Dedizione, passione, professionalità e cura nei dettagli sono le parole d’ordine. La massima disponibilità e simpatia di Pietro fanno la differenza. Pulizia, buon gusto, posizione ottima. Se ci si vuole sentire coccolati è il posto giusto! Che altro dire..non c’è due senza tre! A presto!

Very good accomodation!! The room is cleaned every day. The teracce on the top floor is perfect! Location is perfect.

Great place to stay. 1 minute from the port. Mirangela (the owner) incredibly nice and helpful. Place recently renovated with all furniture new and very modern. Room cleaned on daily basis. Electric heater/air conditioning, TV, Wi - Fi, roof terrace with sofas and BBQ. I wish we had better weather to enjoy it more. 5 out of 5 from us.

Good location and facilities. - - - BUT, I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to a bad experience with the General Manager. On the day of checkout, I planned to do a day trip to somewhere nearby and be back at the hotel in a few hours to pick up my luggages. But the hotel receptionist informed me that they can arrange to have someone deliver my 2 luggages to the Monopoli train station, instead of me having to walk all the way from the station (which will take almost 20 minutes). That way, I can catch my train leaving at 5.28 pm for Naples. So I thought they were really nice and also told them to relay a message to the driver to meet at 5.10 pm so that I can catch my train in time. We had this agreed over WhatsApp. But the driver (who also turned out to be the General Manager of the hotel) was terribly late to the point that I missed my train, and that was my last and only train for the day to my next destination (Naples). Not only did he not apologise, but he even gave himself an excuse/reason that he had to stop and help a lady who was collapsing. The point is not that he shouldn't help her, but rather that he, as the manager, could have managed better and asked another staff to drive my luggages to the station instead so that we can meet at the agreed time. But he didn't. And he even went on and on about how he used to be a celebrity host and said a few others trying to boost his ego. So, while the hotel facilities and location are nice, I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. At least not if this general manager still works there, since this is not the way guests should be treated. I will let you all interpret my experience and decide for yourself.

Beautiful lodging and an amazingly hospitable staff. Pietro was so warm, welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It was raining and night when we arrived and Pietro kindly took a video for us (in the rain!) to show us how to get to our room. The room was amazing, private, and had all the amenities one could ask for (wifi, tv, separate shower, toilet, and bath, fridge with complimentary beverages, great view). We had one hiccup with our room and Pietro sent someone to fix it immediately. Pietro also gave us great recommendations for breakfast and dinner around town. Will definitely stay again and recommend to all my friends!

If you have any doubt about where to stay in Monopoli you MUST stay here. You can’t believe what will will be waiting for you. An impeccable service, an awesome view, the warmest and friendly host ever. He’ll do the impossible to give you an unforgettable experience. More then a 5 star service.

There’re no words what could express our feelings in connection with the accomodation and with our host Pietro’s hospitality, kindness, helpfulness. Monopoli is one of the magnificent places I had seen in my life. The sights, the sea, the gastronomy, the atmosphere all in all fabulous. The hotel was over our expectation, clear, calm, comfortable, breakfast is just perfect,the location superb and the staff fulfilled our needs. Pietro is the best hotel manager and host I ever met. With his tuk tuk he gave us a ride where we wanted to go, suggested places where to eat and drink, he helped me when I had a medical problem and we had very enjoyable discussions. Thank you Pietro for this lovely and unforgottable experience! We’ll come back in the close future!???

The location is perfect - right in front of the sea and a few minutes walk from all the best restaurants and bars. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and absolutely immaculate. We were lucky enough to have a jacuzzi in our room which was such a treat. What really makes the place stand out is the service which is just incredible- the attention to detail is second to none with so many lovely small touches. It feels like staying in the best five star hotel. Every staff member is warm and friendly but Pietro (the manager) is just amazing - so warm and welcoming and the best possible representative of Monopoli. He was always on call to help with anything (eg restaurant bookings) and even took us on a spontaneous tour of Monopoli. We really can’t thank him enough for making it the best stay ever! HIGHLY recommend.
