The problem is customer service, they lack manners with clients.
They do not accept cards, they do not have change and send clients looking for change at other shops, extremely annoying one has to lose time looking for change.
They are too complicated, they do not return the clothes with hangers, they wrap them in soft paper. Overall an unpleasant experience even considering the prices are not exposed anywhere in the shop and when they ask you in the first place if you are from Matera or not it gives clearly the impression they overcharge foreigners.
They need to work a lot on customer service but then that is quite common everywhere in Matera.
