 Great solution when you are passing by and need to wash and dry clothes quickly. Average prices. Many washing machines and dryers available. Fairly central laundry. Advise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beaucoup de machines ne fonctionnaient pas. Pratique, sans plus. Ne vend pas de lessive. La machine de payement ne prend que les billets de 5 ou 10€ et ne rend la monnaie que en pièce de 50cts. On peut payer aussi en pièces. Par contre ça ne prend pas la carte bancaire. S'il y avait des panières à linge ça serait plus pratique pour aller des machines à laver aux sèche-linge.
A lot of the machines were not working. Practical, nothing more. Does not sell laundry. The payment machine only takes 5 or 10 € bills and only gives change in 50cts coins. You can also pay in coins. On the other hand it does not take the bank card. If there were laundry baskets it would be more convenient to go from washing machines to dryers.

We were able to access it by motorhome (8m long) by parking in double line. Classic laundry. The machine that provides the detergent did not work, remember to bring your own!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to get laundry done quickly in Matera. They only lose a star because 1.) The sign is pretty faded so we missed it completely during our first walk up that street and 2.) Despite the fact that there is a detergent dispenser and there is tons of text on how to use the washer/dryers, we could not for the life of us figure out the detergent dispenser and there was little to no text that we could find in the store on how to use it.
Otherwise a great lavanderia and we used it twice while we were in Matera.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to find and easy to get to from our hotel in the Sasso Barisano. Lots of washing machines and also dryers. And a machine that dispenses laundry soap. Best to have coins for the machines. Clear directions in at least a couple languages, including English. A great laundry experience!
