★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a tad pricey but the food is really good! I suggest the 581 catch of the day starter. It looks small for 14 euros but the taste is really fresh and well seasoned. I got the mint julep, very nice, with sugar sprinkled on top, very sour, lots of lime, strawberry and mint. The desert I got was the semifreddo. Strong and sweet taste, lots of chocolate drizzle. The only reason I can give it 5 stars is I think they need to hire more staff or figure a way to make them more affective. It took 10 minutes just to get a menu and the poor waitresses look so frazzled as they hurry around with the weight of the world on their shoulders!

The food and service were really beyond my expectations. The best pasta with seafood I have ever eaten. The recommended wine was also excellent. An unexpected surprise, well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice looking bar/restaurant with great music provided by a dj; smooth jazz during dinner and later more upbeat music for the night. The menu had a wide variety of food and drinks. The food looked and tasted amazing. The staff was very friendly, enthusiastic and spoke English quite well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner in four different locations in Lipari. There was a clear #1, but the 2nd place is shared between this and another place (next door)
The staff was super friendly and attentive. We came in when there was one of the few rain showers and they had closed their glass walls to protect the tables - very smart and efficient. The walls came back down while we were there and we could enjoy the evening.
The food was fantastic. We had spaghetti with clams and garlic, and pasta with seafood in tomato sauce. Both were to die for.
The price is what you would expect in the prime location and the quality of food.
