★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante realizzazione architettonica dei primi decenni del 1900, creata dal nulla nelle paludi pontine dopo la loro bonifica durante il fascismo. Conserva lo stile tipico di quegli anni, modernismo e razionalismo con "aspirazioni" monumentali. Oggi è trascurata e molti palazzi sono in decadenza.
Interesting architectural realization of the first decades of the 1900s, created from nothing in the Pontine marshes after their reclamation during fascism. It preserves the typical style of those years, modernism and rationalism with monumental "aspirations". Today it is neglected and many buildings are in decline.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Negli orari in cui la stazione è gremita, e parlo sino alle 7 (per noi poveri pendolari) la stazione è terra di nessuno. Se non fosse per il bar ed il giornalaio che sono aperti sarebbe un luogo lasciato a se stesso. Assenza di personale ferroviario ed il piu delle volte le macchinette self service per fare biglietti o non funzionanti o accettano solo carte/bancomat. Infine i servizi igienici veramente uno schifo.
In the hours when the station is packed, and I speak until 7 (for us poor commuters) the station is no man's land. If it weren't for the bar and newsagent that are open, it would be a place left to itself. Absence of railway staff and most of the time the self service machines to make tickets either do not work or only accept cards / ATMs. Finally the toilets really suck.

Station more orderly than in the past as architectural interventions have been made to adapt the regulations without altering the beauty of the original rational structure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pochissime panchine. Però nel rifare un sottopasso hanno scialato coll'illuminazione "di design" adatte a disorientare. Vedi foto.
Però diamo atto dei pregi: c'è una tettoia e un bar.
Very few benches. However, in redoing an underpass they used "design" lighting suitable for disorienting. See photos.
But let's take note of the merits: there is a canopy and a bar.
