Un antipasto di salmone e avocado con formaggio imprecisato e il salmone d allevamento, anziché selvaggio, lo avrei evitato. Ma davo per scontato il salmone fosse di primissima scelta. Ho dovuto ricordare di portarmi il vino ordinato. Il dessert, una cheesecake, sembrava industriale. Buone le polpette di melanzane. Il servizio educato ma poco attento e lento. Lovely place. Given the temperatures, I would have expected a shady parking lot. Above all, I was hoping to eat something special and sophisticated. An appetizer of salmon and avocado with unspecified cheese and farmed salmon, rather than wild, I would have avoided. But I assumed the salmon was top quality. I had to remember to bring the ordered wine. The dessert, a cheesecake, looked industrial. Good eggplant meatballs. The polite but not very attentive and slow service.

Il ristorante si trova all'interno di una struttura ricettiva molto esclusiva, immersa nelle campagne della Maremma, a pochi minuti da Capalbio. La sala si presenta come una grande serra, arredata con raffinatezza e c'è la possibilità di stare in veranda, circondati dal verde. Menu ristretto, che segue la stagionalità, molto apprezzato, in aggiunta anche delle proposte per i più piccoli. Buona la carta dei vini, con prodotti locali, presentati da un sommelier competente e simpatico, che ci ha fatto degustare anche l'ottimo olio prodotto in casa. Servizio attento e cortese. Conto un po' salato, ma giusto, commisurato all'offerta. Molto consigliato. A very special place. The restaurant is located in a very exclusive accommodation facility, immersed in the Maremma countryside, just a few minutes from Capalbio. The room looks like a large greenhouse, furnished with refinement and there is the possibility of being on the veranda, surrounded by greenery. Restricted menu, which follows the season, much appreciated, in addition to the proposals for the little ones. The wine list is good, with local products, presented by a competent and friendly sommelier, who also made us taste the excellent oil produced at home. Attentive and courteous service. Account a little salty, but fair, commensurate with the offer. Highly recommended.

Al punto che ritengo convenga visitarlo anche solo per una cena da Roma, poco importa che ci voglia un'ora e mezza per arrivare. Affettati, antipasti, carni e primi fantastici, porzioni abbondanti e prezzo assolutamente corretto. Ho ancora in mente i profumi dei vari ingredienti, a partire dall'olio autoprodotto alle verdure. Tornerò presto, consiglio di visitarlo soggiornando alla Locanda per una serata di assoluto relax. In the context of the out door restaurants, welcoming, with a warm and welcoming style, this place stands out. To the point that I think it's convenient to visit it even just for a dinner from Rome, it doesn't matter that it takes an hour and a half to get there. Fantastic cold cuts, appetizers, meats and first courses, generous portions and absolutely correct price. I still have in mind the scents of the various ingredients, starting from the self-produced oil with vegetables. I'll be back soon, I recommend visiting it while staying at the Locanda for an evening of absolute relaxation.
