★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great truffle pasta, but never got the wine I ordered and the waiter was no where to see for approx 10 mins after I had my food. Otherwise I’d give it a 5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best restaurant we have visited in Como. We were lucky enough to still get a table and walked into a nice, cosy atmosphere.
Food-wise we learned following the recommendation of L‘Antica‘s special dishes (indicated on the menu) was a great idea. The wine card was heaven for me :) and even the experienced Grappa or Gin drinkers will be surprised by the selection and know-how the personnel has. Make sure to ask Roberto for a recommendation of Grappa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to eat at a Michelin star restaurant while in Lago di Como. L’Antica did not disappoint! It was delicious. It seems that with every meal, you get fried onion rings and basil plus bread that comes with olive oil.
For much first plate (pasta) I ordered the truffle pasta. The pasta was homemade and it was infused with three different types of truffles, including a beautiful shaved truffle that is shaved and served next to your table. My friend got the caprese ravioli. Her ravioli was served in a sweet tomato sauce. We then got the wagyu steak which was served with eggplant parmigiana. The wagyu (and I think all meats) is cooked in the fireplace. I ordered mine medium rare and it came out cooked correctly. I used the black lava Hawaiian salt (one I often use at home). Eggplant is one of my favorite foods and the parmigiana was cooked perfectly. My friend does not normally eat eggplant and had only tried it once, but enjoyed it a lot too.
After our glass of Prosecco, our waiter was able to recommend the perfect glasses of wine. My friend got red wine to eat with her meat. I can’t drink red due to allergies, so he recommended a white wine for me as well. I didn’t inform him of my allergies, but there was no judgement about me pairing my white wine with steak.
We were worried about getting too much food. Normally we don’t do a pasta plate + entre, but the portions were the right size. We finished it with espresso and a house made dessert. The dessert was a good finish and wasn’t not too sweet.
This place is delicious, but not pretentious. The portions are sized fairly. It’s everything you’d want. It’s a bit of a walk from the main streets, but worth it. The service was also great. All around, loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very quiet place, out of the usual touristic routes. The place has a beautiful fireplace that is used to cook the excellent meat that is on the menu. The service is very attentive but not intrusive. The menu is relatively short but the selection is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and luxurious experience
The food was excellent and delicious, specially the truffle pasta ❤️
The staff and service were excellent and very friendly. Especially super cute with our baby were they quickly served her some delicious Ragu pasta in priority so that she should not have to wait on us with our starters and they also provided her with a baby chair.
I totally recommend this restaurant on your stay at Como with your family ✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed our meal here. They can easily accommodate celiac needs and are listed in the Italian register (AIC). We had the aged T bone which was a huge portion for 2 people, but completely delicious. The potatoes were the most lovely side. Excellent wine selection of half bottles was perfect for only one person drinking. Friendly and helpful staff was very accommodating to us speaking English. Also served a gluten free bread to start with two olive oils and serve an interesting selection of salts with the meat. It was a bit of a splurge but for great quality. Comfortable atmosphere.
