After taking the bus from Milan to Ljubljana, Budapest, Bratislava and Prague I can now say this station at Milan is the worst of the bunch. It’s sketchy, dirty and a mess. Other European cities have clean, brightly lit bus stations with security and establishments that stay open because the area isn’t sketch.

The place it’s dirty and smelly but efficient. There’s a train every 1/2 minutes and the tickets are cheap. I would have liked more security people because of all the beggars in the zone, there are a lot of illegally sellers on the way to the train, i’m a girl and this didn’t help in making me feel safe.

Well i bought a pair of bus tickets via the app for an 11.30am bus to Zurich. Upon reaching at 11.15am..there were no signs of the bus anywhere. Not even on screen. Went to ask a lady there.. And without checking.. She was soo certain it left already because it was already 11.45am (had to queue). So i had no choice but to buy another pair of tickets cause we had things planned already. Dissatisfied, i walked out only to find my 11.30am bus that arrived at 12.15pm. I really wish she even tried to ask or check whether that bus left or not. I had to forfeit my 3pm bus tickets i newly bought.

The only good thing about this place is the man making sandwiches at night (which can be a safety net if traveling solo). No departures/arrivals updates detailed for customers. No place enough where to sit.. No toilets near by..Homeles pp asking you for money. Milano what a shame ?

I was very concerned having discovered my FlixBus changed at Lampugnano. I read the reviews and I was expecting a hell hole. That was not really my experience. So let’s start with the homeless- yes there are homeless people here and they tended to keep to themselves on the underground/metro side of the bus station. This was a Saturday night and there were a lot of passengers waiting on the bus station side. I didn’t feel threatened or hassled at all. What I did do between buses was a sneaky side trip to see the duomo which is really easy as the metro station is on the bus station 1.50 euros each way and according to current timetable I ready think last train back is at 1231 or 1232am from duomo. I took the one before that at about 10 past to stay on the safe side. The point I am making is that depending on bus times you don’t have to stay on site. Whilst you are there the site is properly lit despite previous reports although I didn’t find a toilet - my bus definitely had one. It was actually fairly clean and there were rubbish bins and vending machines on site. There were benches to sit on although arguably not enough. It would also be helpful If flixbus actually put signs up saying what platform is for which service as that was a bit of a lottery. So lampugnano is definitely no five star experience, sensible caution exercised with personal items is probably about right but this is not an experience to be totally feared. I did not see any rats or mosquitoes. Maybe the October chill has driven them away!

Dirty, filled with litter in the shape of cigarettes and other contraceptions. Very inaccurate communication with passengers with limited things to do there meaning you’re stuck in the inexorable mess. There’s limited and very uncomfortable seating in the raucous and foul smelling station. Many people smoke many cigarettes before their journey making it very uncomfortable for the non-smokers and it made me feel sick. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Lives up to what other negative reviews have said. Only reason it's not a 1/5 is that the cafe/snack bar was decent, reasonably priced, and the some staff were polite. There was over flowing rubbish bins, litter everywhere, dust and grime, and an unsafe vibe. All the infrastructure is outdated and poorly kept, it's kinda falling apart. Homeless people seemingly live around the complex. Dank bathrooms. Avoid if possible, and if you're connecting here, hope your next bus leaves soon.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! An absolute horrible bus station, absolutely filthy with nowhere to sit with very sketchy people walking around. Do not make the mistake to get a bus at night especially for a less popular route that won’t have many passengers as you will be waiting in the dark in the middle of nowhere with only the people that live at the station surrounding you. Shame on Flixbus for using this place for their main station in Milano and allowing their passengers to wait at such a run down horrible place.
