★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very busy trail, but easy enough to do, even when slippery due to rain. The azure-blue lake is the reward for the hiking. Lots of human waste en route due to the popularity of the trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Path was way too busy. Lake was dried up. Even if you start out early you will still run into hikers who are on the way up when you are on the way down. We started at 8am mid September 2021. It took two hours to the lake. On our return down the mountain there was a steady stream of hikers coming up the mountain. The path is narrow with some metal staircases as well as ropes where you have to cling to the mountainside. You will be waiting in line to take your turn (while some rude hikers don't wait for anyone and push ahead of people). The vistas don't change much and the trail isn't particularly interesting or pretty. Worst of all there was only half a lake when we got there! Most of it had dried up. I wish we had done some lakeside trails in the dolomites instead of wasting half a day here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hike that starts easy but becomes more difficult towards the end. Unfortunately too difficult for me with my fear of heights and I had to turn around. There are some narrow parts where you have to cling to the mountainside holding a metal cable. That's a no-go for me.. I did very much enjoy the walk until that point. Quite crowded though, even late in the day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice lake. Trail starts easy, but has some climbing involved. Not difficult but not easy either. Be there EARLY! We started at 7am,good for parking nearby and not a lot if people. Bring enough water if you go early morning, as the bar at the lake opens at 11am. Bring cash just in case.
Good to know:
2 hours to the lake. 2 hours back as well.
Not easy path for (small) dogs.
Dont bring a mountainbike
Bring enough water. Water from the mountain is drinkable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there in the morning, 4th October, so technically off season and there was little of the blue water in the lake, but the views were worth it. Not too crowded, you can park near the trailhead. Just to go to the lake, the path was a bit challenging in some places, but the real fun begins, if you'll choose to take the loop option, the left fork on your way back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hike took us about 2 hours up and 2 hours down due to the fact that it was cloudy/rainy and the stones were wet. So be carefull when its this weather. The trail itself was very nice with some cool views and the lake was amazingly blue. There is a hut on top where you can drink something but unfortunatly due to a lack of navigation we missed it. Its not a very easy climb so it wasnt very touristic which was nice.
