Tagliata ai funghi porcini affogata nell'olio dei funghi (peccato perché era tanta e cotta bene) e funghi immangiabili. Purtroppo appena arrivati è iniziato un forte temporale e il padrone nonostante nn consente i cani all'interno ha fatto un'eccezione e ci ha sistemato dentro...(noi e le cognoline la ringraziamo è stato gentilissimo). Un locale molto grazioso con dei piatti squisiti.... I primi veramente buoni ed anche i secondi favolosi, per non parlare poi del loro prosciutto di bassiano che è un piacere per il palato... Insomma siamo stati benissimo e dato che continuava a piovere molto forte siamo rimasti dentro per parecchio tempo e insieme agli altri clienti, rimasti praticamente bloccati, ci è sembrato di stare ad un pranzo in famiglia, con il proprietario che anche a fine pranzo continuava a portarci del prosciutto per alleviare l'attesa nella speranza che smettesse di piovere.... GRAZIE PER TUTTO... Posto consigliatissimo e ci torneremo sicuramente. We had booked for 4 people, but as we have 2 small dogs, we were told we could only eat outside .... No problem. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived, a strong storm started and despite the fact that the owner does not allow dogs inside, he made an exception and placed us inside ... (we and the cognolines thank you, he was very kind). A very nice place with exquisite dishes .... The first really good and also the second fabulous, not to mention their bassiano ham which is a pleasure for the palate ... In short, we had a great time and since it continued to raining very hard we stayed inside for a long time and together with the other customers, who were practically stuck, we felt like we were having a family lunch, with the owner who even at the end of the lunch continued to bring us some ham to alleviate the wait in hope that it stopped raining .... THANKS FOR EVERYTHING ... Highly recommended place and we will definitely be back.

Cucina che valorizza i sapori e i prodotti locali. Proprietari accoglienti, simpatici e molto cortesi. Locale "piccolo" ma nel tipico stile borgo. Assolutamente consigliato. Tornerò quanto prima. High quality food, all cured meats are cut just before being served in the butchery (same property) a few meters away. Cuisine that enhances local flavors and products. Welcoming, friendly and very courteous owners. Local "small" but in the typical village style. Absolutely recommended. I will be back as soon as possible.

Si spende poco e si mangia tanto e bene! Lo consiglio vivamente! È una tappa che non può sfuggire agli amanti della buona tavola e pertanto la sosta alla rinomata Taverna del Brigante è d'obbligo. L'ambiente è tipicamente rustico, con cucina a vista. Immancabili gli abbondanti taglieri di antipasto ricchi di formaggi, prosciutti, salumi e tanto altro. Dei primi ho assaggiato dei ravioloni freschi, ripieni di prosciutto e patate, saltati nel burro e salvia, ma anche le pappardelle al ragù bianco di cinghiale e funghi avrebbe meritato. I dolci rustici hanno chiuso la mia pausa pranzo. Personale accogliente ed alla mano, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Se passate da queste parti fateci un salto. Consiglio la prenotazione. Bassiano, a charming mountain village renowned for its ham, dairy products, wine, the particular climate that characterizes the seasoning of cured meats and for its naturalistic and cultural beauties. It is a stage that lovers of good food cannot miss and therefore a stop at the renowned Taverna del Brigante is a must. The environment is typically rustic, with an open kitchen. The abundant antipasto platters rich in cheeses, hams, cold cuts and much more are inevitable. Of the first courses I tasted some fresh ravioli, stuffed with ham and potatoes, sautéed in butter and sage, but also the pappardelle with white boar and mushroom ragù he deserved. The rustic desserts closed my lunch break. Welcoming and easy-going staff, excellent quality / price ratio. If you pass by these parts, take a leap. I recommend booking.
