★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimo pranzo domenicale in pieno centro storico di Mentana. Calice di bollicine italiane accompagnano il tagliere di salumi e formaggi locali. Poi carni di primissima scelta tagliate, pesate e cotte a seconda del gusto del gusto di ogni commensale. Dolci squisiti, tutti fatti in casa, della tradizione ma mai banali. Servizio giovane, professionale e cortese. Conto corretto.
 Excellent Sunday lunch in the historic center of Mentana. A glass of Italian bubbles accompany the platter of local cold cuts and cheeses. Then first-rate meats cut, weighed and cooked according to the taste of each diner. Exquisite desserts, all homemade, traditional but never banal. Young, professional and courteous service. Correct account.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto molto molto carino nel centro storico.. il cibo è spettacolare con materie prime di qualità eccellente preparate alla perfezione. In pratica una cucina di alto livello con dei prezzi più che vantaggiosi!
Superconsigliato (soprattutto agli amanti della carne).. Consiglio anche di tenersi uno spazio per i dolci che già valgono il viaggio ?
Very very nice place in the historic center .. the food is spectacular with excellent quality raw materials prepared to perfection. In practice, a high-level cuisine with more than advantageous prices!
Highly recommended (especially for meat lovers) .. I also recommend keeping a space for sweets that are already worth the trip ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qualità dei prodotti offerti e servizio di alta qualità. Buonissimo e ricco il tagliere della Segreta, altrettanto buone (e servite esteticamente bene) la pasta alla carbonara e quella cacio e pepe. Le carni, tutte di alta qualità (io consiglio la Black Angus canadese), sono accompagnate da una ricca lista di vini, tutti di ottima qualità ma "per tutte le tasche"; fatevi guidare da chi vi servirà, sanno abbinare molto bene i vini a quello che si mangia. Anche per i dolci nulla da dire, serviti in modo elegante e buonissimi.
Prezzi: se consideriamo qualità e quantità sono veramente buoni. Ovvio che il costo dipende da quanto ordinate, ma con 35/40 euro a persona farete una cena che non dimenticherete, fidatevi!
Quality of the products offered and high quality service. The Segreta chopping board is delicious and rich, the pasta alla carbonara and the cacio e pepe pasta are just as good (and aesthetically well served). The meats, all of high quality (I recommend the Canadian Black Angus), are accompanied by an extensive wine list, all of excellent quality but "for all budgets"; let yourself be guided by those who will serve you, they know how to combine wines very well with what you eat. Nothing to say for the desserts either, served in an elegant and delicious way.
Prices: if we consider quality and quantity, they are really good. Obviously the cost depends on how much you order, but with 35/40 euros per person you will have a dinner that you will not forget, trust me!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A dir poco eccezionale. Appena entri so vede subito un locale tenuto benissimo curato in tutto. Personale sempre solare gentile e disponibile. I piatti parlano da soli sono imbarazzanti per quanto spaziali. Non so se abbia una stella Michelin ma se la merita tutta! La selezione delle carni è Top!
Exceptional to say the least. As soon as you enter, you immediately see a well-kept place with attention to everything. Always sunny, kind and helpful staff. The dishes speak for themselves they are embarrassing as much as they are spatial. I don't know if it has a Michelin star but it deserves it all! The selection of meats is Top!

Mentre la maggior parte dei ristoranti post covid ha subíto un declino sia in termini di servizio che di qualità qui sembra che la pandemia non li abbia toccati. Il cibo è qualitativamente ottimo e gli accostamenti suggeriti ti accompagnano come in un esperienza sensoriale. Ottimo anche il servizio, dal proprietario Giacomo Iapadre ai camerieri: tutti gentili e disponibili.
Too bad not being able to give 10 stars because it deserves them all. While most post-covid restaurants have experienced a decline in both service and quality, here it seems the pandemic hasn't touched them. The food is qualitatively excellent and the suggested combinations accompany you as in a sensory experience. The service is also excellent, from the owner Giacomo Iapadre to the waiters: all kind and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place in to the old city of Mentana on Nomentana road, site at 25 km from Rome.
A very refined environment in the rustic style details with stone walls and centenary original wooden beams.
Very courteous staff and well-kept cuisine make this place a real highlight of this historic town.
If you pass of here.....trust of me....stop here
