★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this restaurant by chance. It was late and the restaurant was just in front of my hotel. In that area of the city, i didnt expect to eat a tasty food, friendly welcome and modern design. But I was wrong. This is for sure one of my favorite restaurants in Naples

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst restaurant in Italy so far.. half of the steak was too hard to chew and quite tasteless. I asked for 500g and when I got the bill they had given me 100g and charged me for it. This was even more annoying since I hadn’t even been able to eat the whole steak, it was so hard and dry. When I complained about them charging me for more than I ordered they said that there was nothing they could do.. unlike all the restaurants we’ve been so far, the staff was not friendly at all, the restaurant had less people being served than serving and they took ages to serve us, instead just stayed near the bar chatting. Don’t recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great pizza, great beer. Service was very indifferent and robotic, direct and not welcoming. I have been in Italy for one week, eating out for all my meals at small 2 person cafes to restaurants. Every place is typically italian and very welcoming and warm. this was the exception. Go around the corner to Napoli food cafe or Madaleo. Good safe travels

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best steak I had in a long time. The staff guy was very helpful and friendly, didn't get his name unfortunately. Recommended the meat both times we visited. Helped with dinner choice and it was amazing. The best dinner in Naples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Scottona was a wonderful place. Just got into Naples and was looking for something near to our hotel for dinner. We were thinking pizza and it looked pretty good.
Looking for pizza, our waiter, was upfront and told us not to, they are known for their meat. I got the T-Bone and wife the fillet. Even in the US, this is most likely the best we have ever had.
Also, the waiter was kind enough to recommend us the desserts and we're phenomenal (and I'm not a big cheesecake person). This was the best.
Service was amazing and I wish I had the waiters name, but, sadly, I don't. He was the best and most helpful and if we ever come back to Italy, we will go here again.
