★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here not just because it was close by (We were staying at Hotel Capenelle) but because of the reviews on here albeit outdated, so I thought I might update. Well we were not disappointed the staff are friendly even speak English (well as much as any other restaurant) the food was fantastic and great value for money. (we tried a good portion of the menu) being out of the town you don't get ripped off. We loved it so much we ate here most nights( 5/7) and always had a nice welcome., the waitress /manager even remembered our drinks order on the second evening, and made sure we had a table on a Saturday night when we hadnt booked and they had a pretty full restaurant, Easy 5 stars would recommend anyone to try it.
We even got a friendly hello on the Monday night when they were closed and we bumped into the waitress in the street when we were on our way to eat elsewhere,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great restaurant, don't be put off by the location. When you go down the stairs the it opens out into big spacious eating area. Food excellent ( cook freshly) and staff couldn't do enough to make it a nice experience. It seemed a very popular place with locals of all ages nice atmosphere. Great value and great wine. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.
