La cucina ottima, curata, con materie prime eccellenti. Prezzi in linea con il posto. Very nice place, fine, clean, impeccable service, kind staff. The hostess very nice and made us feel immediately at ease. The excellent cuisine, cured, with excellent raw materials. Prices in line with the place.

G	Gianni Francioso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cena in posto carino ma non eccezionale, una corte ricavata tra dei palazzoni. 2 coppie, abbiamo ordinato degli antipasti, scarsissime porzioni e qui posso ancora accettare, ma qualità veramente deludente(la pitta di patate e un panzerotto con un piattino di insalata di mare che vengono conteggiate come 4 antipasti per un totale di 52euro sono uno scandalo. Le signore chiedono un piatto a testa di crudi di mare, qualità buona, 16€ a piatto. In più abbiamo preso 2 secondi, una fettina di cernia,18€ e una tagliata di vitello il mio piatto, 13€, quasi immangiabile. 2 bottiglie di negramaro Menhir vendute a 15€ l'una, in genere costano tra le 11 e le 12€. 4 dolci buoni ma non da 6€ a piatto, in genere costano 4, mentre 5 se ci vuoi guadagnare. In conclusione mi sono sentito un pollo da spennare. Capisco che lavorare con i turisti ti permetta di approfittarne, mentre io essendo del posto non accetto questo trattamento, ma credo sia veramente una pessima politica dei prezzi. Evitate. Dinner in a nice but not exceptional place, a courtyard created between the buildings. 2 couples, we ordered appetizers, very few portions and here I can still accept, but really disappointing quality (the potato pitta and a panzerotto with a plate of seafood salad which are counted as 4 appetizers for a total of 52 euros are a scandal. The ladies ask for a plate of raw seafood, good quality, € 16 per plate, plus we took 2 seconds, a slice of grouper, € 18 and a cut of veal, my plate, € 13, almost inedible. 2 Menhir bottles of negramaro sold at € 15 each, generally cost between € 11 and € 12. 4 good desserts but not € 6 per dish, generally cost 4, while 5 if you want to earn it. heard a chicken to pluck. I understand that working with tourists allows you to take advantage of it, while being local I do not accept this treatment, but I think it is really a bad price policy.

De ober samen met de twee serveersters zijn netjes en spreken prima Engels. Het eten is voldoende en smaakt goed. Je krijgt een amuse van de zaak en and het einde een klein drankje naar keuze. Het enige minpunt, het tempo ligt hoog.. Lekker gezellig en rustig aan tafel is bijna niet mogelijk, de gerechten blijven komen.. We've eaten here 2x in 5 days, as we were sleeping at Palazzo Circolone, and the food tastes pretty good. The waiter along with the two waitresses are neat and speak good English. The food is adequate and tastes good. You get an amuse-bouche and at the end a small drink of your choice. The only downside, the pace is high.. Nice and quiet at the table is almost impossible, the dishes keep coming..

Simple recipes (I do not like elaborated concoctions) well executed with fresh and tasty ingredients. The shrimps were a bit "difficult", as the fava beans taste covers a bit too much the delicate tastes of fresh shrimps. Very good desserts, both the panna cotta (excellent match with quinces) and the almond with ricotta and candied orange, recalling the more famous cannolo siciliano but with a more delicate taste. Nice service, discrete and efficient. Excellent locaation for a couple dinner, in the middle of Salento, in the central square of Poggiardo. The bills is slightly lower than the quality of the food, which is a plus. For a 3 course dinner (without wine or large fish) budget 40 Euro per person. Definitely a place to recommend.
