Il locale si trova in centro a Perugia vicino alla cattedrale, è molto piccolo ma ben rifornito di cioccolatini e prodotti tipici umbri. I prezzi sono in linea con la media cittadina. Il negozio, durante la fiera del cioccolato, è aperto fino a tarda sera. Comprare del cioccolato sfuso ad agosto non è forse il massimo (e per questo lascio due stelle anziché una, in fondo è anche colpa mia), ma se il negozio la vende evidentemente deve essere buona, malgrado il periodo. E invece la cioccolata era vecchia, le luci basse non aiutano a vedere il bianchiccio tipico del cioccolato datato. All'apertura del sacchetto al naso arriva l'odore di cioccolato rancido. Immangiabili il soffiato e le mandorle ricoperte, di buona fattura (ma pur sempre rancida, benché sia più difficile percepire il malo sapore) la pasta di cacao. Magari le tavolette confezionate saranno buonissime, ma forse è il caso di togliere la cioccolata scusa. Tornerò? Forse per le barrette. 7 euros in the dustbin. Dopo aver scelto un paio di barrette abbiamo chiesto al signore dietro al bancone se fosse disponibile ancora la crema al pistacchio. Appena uscito dal bancone ci siamo resi conto che non aveva mascherina e letteralmente masticando a bocca aperta a mezzo metro da noi ha risposto maleducatamente che se non la vedevamo non c'era. Potrei anche capire (insomma) la svista della mascherina, ma certi modi non sono tollerabili. Abbiamo posato le cose che abbiamo scelto e siamo usciti. Come in to buy some chocolate. This is an overpriced chocolate shop that exploits tourists. The shop assistants weren’t very friendly either.
