★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do 3 stelle perché il cibo non è male, (consiglio la pepata di cozze con la nduja, davvero buona, primi così così) ma esperienza non proprio positiva. Dopo essere stati più volte a mangiare nel locale, il Sabato siamo tornati a pranzo essendo vicino al villaggio in cui soggiornavamo, dopo aver pranzato, pagato il conto e usciti il titolare ci richiama avendo sbagliato il conto, chiedendoci 10€ in più (facendoci pagare amaro e acqua).. dopo essere stati 3 volte ed essendo un loro errore, io non avrei mai fatto una cosa simile, i turisti vanno coccolati non spremuti come delle arancie, non lo consiglio vista l'avidità del titolare, davvero discutibile.
 I give 3 stars because the food is not bad, (I recommend the peppered mussels with nduja, really good, first so-so) but not exactly a positive experience. After having been several times to eat in the restaurant, on Saturday we returned for lunch being close to the village where we were staying, after having lunch, paid the bill and left the owner calls us back having wrong the bill, asking us 10 € more (making us pay bitter and water) .. after being 3 times and being their mistake, I would never have done such a thing, tourists should be pampered not squeezed like oranges, I do not recommend it given the greed of the owner, really questionable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vado a La Perla da molti anni: difficilissimo trovare connubio migliore fra un mare cristallino e una cucina genuina sentendosi tanto bene accolti. Gestori gentilissimi , portate di giusta quantità e buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Ho incontrato ristoranti in Calabria in cui ho speso meno ( è vero) ma ,a loro differenza,La Perla rilascia regolarmente la ricevuta fiscale. Se qualcuno asserisce che i prezzi sono un po' alti...si faccia una domanda e provi a darsi una risposta. La cornice,con la rocchetta sullo sfondo,immerge in tramonti indimenticabili. Se inoltre siete camperisti, troverete alla Perla un parcheggio sicuro e confortevole. Insomma: da non perdere assolutamente!
I have been going to La Perla for many years: it is very difficult to find a better combination between a crystalline sea and genuine cuisine, feeling so welcome. Very kind managers, courses of the right quantity and good value for money.
I have met restaurants in Calabria where I spent less (it's true) but, unlike them, La Perla regularly issues the tax receipt. If someone claims that the prices are a bit high ... ask yourself a question and try to answer yourself. The frame, with the rocchetta in the background, immerses you in unforgettable sunsets. Furthermore, if you are a camper van, you will find a safe and comfortable car park at La Perla. In short: not to be missed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well the view was nice, but we were surprised by the high prices (since this is a small and not touristy town). We ordered mussles, and they came in a dense sausage sauce, so they tasted completely like spicy pork. (Cozze pepata shouldn't taste like that.)
This was the first place during our stay in Calabria where we actually didn't like the pizza. The dough was dry, thick and had only a tiny bit of cheese and sauce on it. My shrimp pizza for 10 euros had 5 tiny shrimps on it, come on!:D
The waiters were slow, and they mixed up our drink orders. So overall this place was disappointing.:(
