β β β β β This is a fabulous place and the chef/owner is delightful. The menu is in his head and he sits with you and talks through the dishes. Delicious food and wine. Wish we were staying longer so that we could go back every day. Be sure to have the courgettes starter and leave room for dessert!

β β β β β The food is fantastic. Simple fresh produce cooked in the classic Italian way. The owner comes to your table sits down and has a chat about what you would like to eat. We never saw a menu but we had three courses and everything was perfect. Very reasonably priced too.

β β β β β Like a Michelin star restaurant hidden in a small village. Amazing food prepared daily by chef Tonino, very healthy and likely all sourced locally. 50β¬ for 2 pax with wine, youβd pay 4X this in any big city easily

β β β β β can't imagine not discovering Antonio's La Perla, it really makes this area! my boyfriend and i stayed just down the street and saw the raving reviews. needless to say, after our first meal, we were committed. Toni comes to great us and asks exactly what were in the mood for, from there he prepares the most authentic dishes for us. we came here 2 days in a row and felt it was only fair to wander off and try other restaurants in the area - but nothing compared. he really set the standards and naturally we compared every meal to his! his pastas and ingredients are so fresh and blurts with flavour, you can taste the love and dedication he puts into his cooking! on top of that, he absolutely does not overcharge us. we've tried a few restaurants in Sorrento and Capri - they simply weren't up to par. if only we could bring him home with us (we offered but he kindly declined). we can't wait to be back to Italy and the next time we are, you bet we'll come by just to have a meal from La Perla. we highly highly recommend you come by, even if you're staying in Sorrento or along the Amalfi Coast - it's 1000% worth the short 20 minute drive! better yet, we recommend staying in this area, away from all the tourists and traffic of the Amalfi Coast.
