La qualità, come anche la manutenzione del locale, nel tempo però è un pò calata rendendo La Pastarella un locale da sfizio serale/notturno senza troppe pretese.
A historic pastry shop that is mainly characterized by its night opening: a counter always well stocked with sweet and savory pastries at normal prices.
The quality, as well as the maintenance of the venue, however, has dropped a little over time, making La Pastarella a night / evening whim without too many pretensions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quando ho abitato a Milano e a Roma, ma anche quando per brevi periodi per lavoro sono stata fuori la cosa che più mi mancava erano le brioche alla chantilly della pastarella. Tutte le mie amiche lo sanno: se vogliono farmi felice basta una brioche alla chantilly della pastarella.
When I lived in Milan and Rome, but also when I was away for short periods for work, the thing I most missed was the pastarella chantilly brioche. All my friends know it: if they want to make me happy, a brioche with Chantilly from pastarella is enough.
