La Lucciola

Abbiamo prenotato per Pasqua e siamo rimasti a dir poco delusi, come detto alla cameriera alla fine del servizio. E' stato servito un menù a dir poco scadente in termini di qualità e in proporzione al prezzo ed occasione. Oltre gli affettati ,crostini e ravioli ,il resto delle portate sono state scadenti. I paccheri avevano un sapore molto forte di formaggio con un gambero appoggiato,i sapori non erano per nulla amalgamati. Ma la delusione è sul secondo pesce fritto dove si percepiva solo la Panatura e le cotolette di agnello impanate servite tiepide per non dire fredde e inpiattate insieme al pesce senza logica, con una salsa e un ciuffo di valeriana.  Il servizio è stato lento, molto lento con personale che urlava tra cucina e sala senza avere chiaro l'uscita delle portate. Non vi era personale preparato ma più improvvisato. Inoltre se vi è un vegetariano e si avvisa prima, proporre pasta in bianco, insalata e patatine fritte il giorno di Pasqua è davvero una mancanza di preparazione, dato che basta poco preparare una pasta con sugo di verdure, funghi con polenta , risotto con verdure, zafferano  etc etc.  Data la nostra esperienza negativa non torneremo, abbiamo apprezzato che la persona che non ha mangiato quasi nulla non ha pagato.  Però spero che le nostre osservazioni possano aiutare la struttura a migliorarsi.

A bit old style, but with great pizza selection and taste.

Well the overall experience wasn’t that bad BUT.. I was really disappointed that they don’t do pizzas eventhough they have it in the menu. When we ordered something else, they had only 2 portions of it so some of us had to choose another thing. Also the staff does not speak english at all. On the other side the view was nice and food also but for the missing half of the menu I can’t give more stars..

The best place for relaxing, Hiking, biking, motorcycling. This place is a hiideaway for free Your mind. Iris is the best cook I‘ve ever met. Her daughter Saphirio is the best pizza chief in the whole area. Rooms are simple, clean and Cosy. The restaurant has a great view over the whole area, you can see lake iseo in the distance. The place is linked by a winding road to the lake. You can do hiking on many passses (OSTELLO Trentapassi). The air is clean and you can sleep well. In WW2 this place was a strategic remote place for securing the the whole south area till Brescia, iseo and the lake. The place is surrounded by high mountains up to 1850m from west, north to the east. If You hike on top of the mountains you will have a gorgeous view over the whole lake. To the east you can reach Lago die Garda in 90 minutes. Milano, brescia and Bergamo you can reach fast. The best disco in the whole Brescia/Lombardia region is “Disco Numero UNO”. You can reach it in with 30 minutes. Lago Iseo is beautiful and you can go around by bike or take a ferry from Marone (famous touristy town). On the othe side of the lake You can find touristy spots with pittoreske small cities build by the Roman’s. You can visit several shopping centers. If you come with your motorbike there is the passo Tonale wich offers curvy roads with a high flow level. I have been there more than 20 times and it is the best places to stay if You want to do an active, relaxing and inspiring vacation this is Your place to go.

Charming and lovely place, one of the hostel I most enjoyed staying. Iris and sapirio the hosts are so lovely kind and caring, and did a lot to make me feel comfortable . I just waiting for the opportunity to come back again. The pizza in the restaurant is the best I have eating. The breakfast is great and fresh. Thank you for the pleasant stay❤️
