Ristorante "La Gera" di Confienza. Paese agricolo vicino sia a Vercelli che Novara. Copre una vasta area del circondario e vale la pena di fare un salto. Arrivati in paese, si procede seguendo le indicazioni e si arriva in una grande piazza dove il parcheggio non manca. Entrando nel ristorante ci si sottopone ai controlli di sicurezza antiCovid. Il locale ha una sala . Mi sembra non più di 40 coperti, ma penso che sia per motivi di sicurezza. Il personale è molto cordiale e ci fa sentire subito a casa. Noi abbiamo fatto una cena con amici e secondo me è stata molto deliziosa. Fra tutti i piatti segnalo: Lo sformato e la carne battuta con uova e bagna cauda . Con questo non significa che il resto non è stato gradito, ma secondo me è obbligatorio gustarli. Una cena completa dall'antipasto al dolce e caffè con vini e acqua è costata 50€. Il pane e grissini sono delle ghiottonerie, attenzione a non mangiarne troppo altrimenti non si arriva alla fine. Consiglio questo locale per assaggiare i piatti locali di questa zona con la sensazione di essere in famiglia. Provate per credere!! The venue has a hall. It seems to me no more than 40 covers, but I think it is for safety reasons. The staff are very friendly and immediately make us feel at home. We had a dinner with friends and I think it was very delicious. Among all the dishes I point out: The flan and the meat beaten with eggs and bagna cauda. This does not mean that the rest was not appreciated, but in my opinion it is mandatory to taste them. A complete dinner from appetizer to dessert and coffee with wines and water cost € 50. Bread and breadsticks are delicacies, be careful not to eat too much otherwise you won't get to the end. I recommend this place to taste the local dishes of this area with the feeling of being in family. Try it for yourself!

Ambiente curato con pochi tavoli, ideale per passare delle serate romantiche o per cene in compagnia in totale tranquillità. Siamo stati accolti con dei piccoli assaggini di benvenuto accompagnati da un flûte di pinot nero veramente molto gradito. Come primo scegliamo dei tagliolini all'arneis e un risotto con salsiccia di cavallo, decisamente ottimi. Come secondo optiamo per una guancia di cavallo brasata con polenta e il piatto del giorno a base di anatra e verze, i piatti risultano saporiti e molto ben riusciti. Il tutto innaffiato da un ottimo Gattinara di Anzivino. Per dessert millefogli all'amarena e un dolce con offelle, gelato e cioccolato, entrambi molto golosi. Concludiamo con un caffè accompagnato da piccole meringhe, mini bigné con panna e biscottini al burro. Per finire due bicchieri dell'Amaro Dente di Leone. Porzioni giuste, non esagerate. Tempistiche eque tra un piatto e l’altro, materie prime di alta qualità. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, abbiamo speso circa 50 euro a testa. La proprietaria, che segue la sala, è stata professionale, cordiale e molto disponibile. Abbiamo passato un San Valentino molto sereno e piacevole. Ristorante assolutamente consigliato. As a first course we choose the tagliolini all'arneis and a risotto with horse sausage, definitely excellent. As a second course we opt for a braised horse cheek with polenta and the dish of the day based on duck and cabbage, the dishes are tasty and very successful. All washed down with an excellent Gattinara di Anzivino. For dessert millefogli with sour cherry and a dessert with offelle, ice cream and chocolate, both very greedy. We conclude with a coffee accompanied by small meringues, mini cream puffs and butter biscuits. Finally, two glasses of Amaro Dente di Leone. Right portions, not overwhelming. Fair timing between one dish and another, high quality raw materials. Excellent value for money, we spent about 50 euros each. The owner, who follows the room, was professional, friendly and very helpful. We spent a very peaceful and pleasant Valentine's Day. Absolutely recommended restaurant.
