★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La miglior libreria nel Veneto dove riesco a trovare i libri che non potrei trovare in nessun altro posto, oltre che scacchiere e altre cose di nicchia. Complimenti ai gestori del negozio, continuate così e rimarrò sempre un cliente affezionato anche se esigente :-)
 The best bookstore in Veneto where I can find books that I couldn't find anywhere else, as well as chessboards and other niche things. Congratulations to the store managers, keep it up and I will always remain a loyal customer even if demanding :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Condivido su certi punti con le altre recensioni, ma sui libri usati no. Ho notato alcuni libri usati edizione "giovane" evidenziati, scritti, con orecchie, e anche a prezzo pieno. Magari una svista, ma neppure li pagherei a 5 euro visto lo stato. Ci sono posti ( e anche online) dove riesci a trovare libri usati in migliori condizioni. Per il resto, buona libreria.
I agree on certain points with the other reviews, but not on used books. I noticed some "young" edition used books highlighted, written, with ears, and even at full price. Maybe an oversight, but I wouldn't even pay them at 5 euros given the state. There are places (and online too) where you can find used books in better conditions. For the rest, a good library.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In questo ultimo anno caratterizzato dalla pandemia ho potuto riscoprire la lettura e in questa libreria trovo sempre libri insoliti e fuori catalogo come molti libri e manuali tecnici che non si trovano nelle catene più conosciute.
Inoltre la cortesia e la competenza del personale da quella marcia in più ad una libreria storica nel centro di Mestre che nel tempo si è evoluta con un ampio angolo dedicato al modellismo (ho comperato alcuni modellini di auto storiche per mio nipote).
In this last year characterized by the pandemic I have been able to rediscover reading and in this library I always find unusual and out of print books as well as many technical books and manuals that are not found in the best known chains.
In addition, the courtesy and competence of the staff gives that extra gear to a historic bookshop in the center of Mestre which over time has evolved with a large corner dedicated to model making (I bought some models of historic cars for my nephew).

A differenza delle solite librerie, come le definisco io, di"partito", la Galleria del libro", può essere considerara l'ultimo baluardo della vera arte libraria.
L'accoglienza è ottima, gentili e, a differenza di altre librerie che ho frequentato, vieni consigliato da persone che ti sanno proporre un libro di tuo interesse, anche quando non sai a che santi rivolgerti. Di solito, nelle altre, se non hai il titolo del libro, non ti sanno nemmeno indirizzare, cosa che, alla" galleria del libro" non succede.
Altro punto a favore, almeno secondo le mie esigenze, si trovano, oltre ai libri attuali, anche vecchie edizioni veramente interessanti, e mai trovate nelle nuove librerie commerciali. Il titolare e la sua assistente sono preparati e disponibili. A mio avviso, a Mestre esiste una sola libreria, LA "GALLERIA DEL LIBRO".

Unlike the usual bookstores, as I call them, of "party", the Book Gallery "can be considered the last bastion of true book art.
The welcome is excellent, kind and, unlike other bookstores I've attended, you are advised by people who know how to offer you a book of your interest, even when you don't know which saints to turn to. Usually, in the others, if you don't have the title of the book, they don't even know how to direct you, which doesn't happen in the "book gallery".
Another point in favor, at least according to my needs, there are, in addition to the current books, also old editions that are really interesting, and never found in the new commercial bookstores. The owner and his assistant are prepared and available. In my opinion, there is only one bookshop in Mestre, THE "BOOK GALLERY".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho trovato di recente alcuni libri della Armed Service Edition , pubblicati negli Stati Uniti durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale e distribuiti gratuitamente alle truppe stanziate nel Mediterraneo. Una scoperta unica che mi ha permesso di intraprendere un viaggio di ricerca in questo contesto editoriale. Libreria preziosa . Grazie per avermi dato questa opportunità.
I recently found some books from the Armed Service Edition, published in the United States during the Second World War and distributed free to troops stationed in the Mediterranean. Qualche giorno fa ho visto in vetrina un vasto assortimento di libri che parlano del Veneto, sono entrata e ho conosciuto un gentilissimo proprietario che mi ha seguita bene e con cui ho avuto una piacevolissima chiacchierata. Tornerò presto, molto più spesso... Ora è diventata la mia libreria preferita!
To think that I have passed by it for years but have never entered ... A few days ago I saw in the window a vast assortment of books that talk about the Veneto, I entered and met a very kind owner who followed me well and with whom I had a very pleasant chat. I'll be back soon, much more often ... It's now my favorite bookstore!
