β β β β β Average place in the center of Cetara. We went there because we wanted to taste the famous "colatura di alici", so we ordered some spaghetti with it. The pasta wasn't great, nothing extraordinary. Also, we asked for something listed on the menu and it wasn't available...and we didn't like it so much. The rest we took was ok, nothing special, but I wouldn't come back here. I believe there are plenty of better places in Cetara.

β β β β β A must if you are around.
First the hosts are kind and lovely. Second, the food so fresh so simple and just right on spot, everything was absolutely delicious. The prices was fair (people would even say cheap). The atmosphere is that they cook just for you with all the attention needed .

β β β β β Cetara is a lovely little town. We stayed four nights and never had a bad meal. Seafood is tasty and fresh in pretty much every restaurant here. And this place here is no exception.
Located on the main drag in Cetara it's easy to find and has a nice atmosphere...especially in the evening. In summer most people take a table outside...and so did we. Our dog was welcome as well.
We ordered a bottle of White Wine for 11 Euros and two mains: a squid and potatoe stew and the famous mixed frittura (fried seafood and fish). The stew was really something different. The ingredients seem simple, but all is made fresh and the broth/sauce rich and flavorful. It's more than meets the eye. A great choice. The fried seafood was also a good choice. Fresh, hot and crispy calamari, shrimp and anchovies.
Service was friendly and prices fair. Another good choice to have dinner in this lovely town.

β β β β β Fantastic little restaurant in this gem of a village on the Amalfi coast. The food was amazing, and so was the service. Highly recommended!

β β β β β If you're looking for an authentic, fresh, amazing, loc seafood meal, look no further. We ate alici (fresh anchovies) fished by the owner that same day. Even my father in law, who thought he didn't like anchovies, literally inhaled three servings. But not just the anchovies are delicious. The fresh lemon ricotta ravioli with seafood were to die for and so were all the other courses we ordered. Plus you got Michele, the owner, who is one of the coolest guy you'll ever meet! Can't wait to come back at La Frittura del Golfo!

β β β β β The Ravioli alla limone with sea food was really yum. Topped off with freshly grated lemon peel it was a great treat. Service was great. Still, the restaurant is a bit overpriced (this dish was 16β¬) along with the parking in this town, but I expect this to be normal on the Amalfi coast.
