Posti così fanno riflettere sul perché la nostra amata terra non progredisce mai. Sconsiglio Poor service, 1 and a half hours of waiting despite the reservation. 25 euros for a very small appetizer and a 250gr steak. Places like this make us think about why our beloved land never progresses. I do not recommend

Il cibo è gradevole alla vista, molto saporito, in puro stile da trattoria. Posso ritenermi soddisfatto, anche per la compagnia del titolare, molto attento a tutte le nostre esigenze. The restaurant is located at the gates of the historic center of Rocca Imperiale. It comes with a traditional style. The food is pleasing to the eye, very tasty, in pure trattoria style. I can be satisfied, also for the company of the owner, who is very attentive to all our needs.

Il proprietario Giuseppe è simpaticissimo, la sua prerogativa è far mangiare prodotti di qualità. Gli antipasti sono eccezionali fanno percepire la cucina antica del posto. La carne....che dire....bisogna provarla eccezionale. Il locale ha una veranda esterna, tavoli e sedie di plastica...ma mentre mangiate questi prodotti vi dimenticherete di questo dettaglio. P.S. per quanto riguarda i gatti, le persone dovrebbero evitare di dare cibo e poi riferire cose non vere.. We wanted to eat local products, we found a place at the Forge. The owner Giuseppe is very nice, his prerogative is to eat quality products. The starters are exceptional and make you feel the ancient cuisine of the place. The meat .... what to say .... you have to try it exceptional. The restaurant has an outdoor veranda, plastic tables and chairs ... but while you eat these products you will forget about this detail. P.S. as for cats, people should avoid giving food and then reporting untrue things.
g	giulia rancati on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al termine della visita guidata della rocca e del centro storico abbiamo pranzato alla Forgia del Gusto in veranda godendoci una bellissima vista fino al mare. Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario che ci ha raccontato aneddoti locali e ci ha trasmesso la passione per la cucina e per il cibo di qualità. Ottimo l'antipasto misto...da leccarsi i baffi sia con gli affettati e i formaggi sia con la trippa (divinamente piccantina), le polpettine di agnello al limone (delicatissime) e le bruschette. La carbonara è veramente buona. Mio figlio l'ha mangiata di gusto. Ottimi anche i secondi di carne: la tagliata di Angus con rucola e grana e il medaglione di Angus sono stati letteralmente spazzolati! Abbiamo concluso con i tartufi artigianali, un fine pasto fresco e gradevole, e con il limoncello prodotto con i famosi limoni locali, offerto dalla casa. Davvero consigliato! At the end of the guided tour of the fortress and the historic center we had lunch at the Forgia del Gusto on the veranda enjoying a beautiful view as far as the sea. We were greeted by the owner who told us local anecdotes and passed on his passion for cooking and quality food. The mixed appetizer is excellent ... mouth-watering both with cold cuts and cheeses and with tripe (divinely spicy), lamb meatballs with lemon (very delicate) and bruschetta. The carbonara is really good. My son ate it with gusto. The main courses of meat are also excellent: the Angus tagliata with rocket and parmesan and the Angus medallion have been literally brushed! We concluded with artisanal truffles, a fresh and pleasant end of the meal, and with limoncello produced with the famous local lemons, offered by the house. Really recommended!

Location accogliente prezzo giusto cibo ottimo??? Availability accompanied by the courtesy of Mr. Giuseppe and the local and typical quality cooked by his wife and also served by two smart girls. Cozy location, fair price, great food???

D	Davide Moroni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tonight we were around the nice Rocca Imperiale "borgo", while waiting for a dinner in a well-known fish restaurant a few kilometres away. The borgo was nicely dressed up for a religious festival (to be held on July 1 and 2). We get curiosus about this place since there were many nice cats around, and we are fond of them. So, I asked for the menu to see if there was something appealing for our taste and if the place deserved a visit in the forthcoming days. But the waiter girl was rude to us, explaining that as a management rule they only allow a dinner to be charged over 20euros. I think that every visitors deserve a place as long as he/she can afford it......so we definitely decided NOT go to this place ;) by the way we were also dressed up decently! Good luck and please learn how to welcome people from abroad!
