Per quanto riguarda la struttura, devo ammettere che già da lontano mi ha incuriosito, tanto che ho fatto una deviazione per raggiungerla, prima di arrivare alla mia meta. Una volta lì però, é stato molto difficile ammirarla nel suo complesso, causa inclinazione della croce. Una volta sotto, alzare la testa e vedere le nuvole dietro muoversi, dava l'impressione che crollasse da un momento all'altro. Questo ha fatto sì che risultasse impressionante, quanto inquietante. Vorrei capire bene la scelta di questa inclinazione inusuale, che non ha convinto ne me ne chi era con me. Very beautiful surrounding landscape, wide and fascinating view of the valley. As for the structure, I must admit that from afar it intrigued me, so much so that I took a detour to reach it, before arriving at my destination. Once there, however, it was very difficult to admire it as a whole, due to the inclination of the cross. Once under, raising your head and seeing the clouds moving behind gave the impression that it collapsed at any moment. This made it as impressive as it was disturbing. I would like to understand well the choice of this unusual inclination, which did not convince me or who was with me.

Nel 2014 la struttura di Gesù in croce cadde uccidendo un ragazzo di 21anni in visita con l'oratorio. Nella cripta sotto la croce vi è il ricordo del ragazzo oltre ad un piccolo ma curato museo dell'opera. The cross of the Pope from Cevo is the same that was used during the visit of Pope John Paul II to Brescia in 1998. In 2014 the structure of Jesus on the cross fell killing a 21-year-old boy visiting the oratory. In the crypt under the cross there is the memory of the boy as well as a small but well-kept opera museum.
