★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Croce di vetta e terrazza panoramica sulla città. Da quando è stata collocata la nuova croce, in sostituzione della vecchia, la vetta della Palanzana è diventata meta abituale di religiosi, oltre che di tanti escursionisti. Il luogo si può raggiungere con il secondo sentiero a sx (la direttissima) se si parte dall'eremo di San Antonio, oppure raggiungendo il curvone della zona Grottone, entrando quindi sul sentiero sterrato che sale verso Nord.
Summit cross and panoramic terrace overlooking the city. Since the new cross was placed, replacing the old one, the Palanzana peak has become a popular destination for religious, as well as many hikers. The place can be reached with the second path on the left (the direct route) if you start from the hermitage of San Antonio, or reaching the bend in the Grottone area, then entering on the dirt path that climbs north.

Beautiful panorama, the path to get there is also affordable for the less trained. (About 15 km total)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La strada per arrivare è abbastanza dura e ripida (però se si è un minimo allenati si riesce tranquillamente a farla).
Il panorama che si può ammirare una volta arrivati è comunque mozzafiato e quindi vale assolutamente la pena la fatica del percorso
The road to get there is quite hard and steep (but if you are a little trained you can easily do it).
The panorama that can be admired once you arrive is still breathtaking and therefore it is absolutely worth the effort of the path

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima camminata vicino Viterbo, si sale in circa 45 minuti ed il panorama è spettacolare.
Se decidete fare il percorso ad anello la discesa è di circa un ora.
Portate panini ed acqua, il percorso è poco frequentato.
Beautiful walk near Viterbo, you go up in about 45 minutes and the view is spectacular.
If you decide to do the circular route, the descent takes about an hour.
Bring sandwiches and water, the route is not very popular.
