We ordered a 10€ student menu (a plate of pasta and a bottle of water) and it was okay, maybe a little insuficient for a lunch but affordable. Tiramisù was not included in the menu, but it was very good

One of the best little hidden gems in Milano metro area. The restaurant have a nice glente touch of a trattoria. Incredible food, original nonna recipe, and the chef attends you personally, he is very reachable and kind. Special prices for students, and the kitchen is always open in the afternoon. Would recommend 10/10.

The chef is so kind and caring. He is a great person and the seafood pasta is delicious. The tiramisu is also great. He gave us limoncello shots to finish. Everything is homemade and tastes great. Would recommend to everyone!

A gem in Milan. The chef was awesome and the food was great. These pasta serving sizes were huge and we enjoyed it so much.

Cozy place for a nice lunch, dinner in the center of Milan. You will find one of the nicest chefs in the city. Maurizio will welcome you and make great suggestions for you meal. The kitchen is always open (even in mid-afternoon, usually when everything is closed). Also you will find a student menu, for 10€. A must if you are visiting Milan!

Having read some of the reviews, I feel a little let down that I got such a passive service. I was seated by someone who was mid-conversation with another diner by them pointing to a table, given a menu by it just being left on my table, nobody checked in that the food was okay and when I asked for the bill it took so long that I went up and paid (to a lady who was on the opposite side of some shelves, so I couldn’t even see her properly) as I left. I heard some other tables being offered deserts or espresso - I didn’t receive the same offer. The salad was fairly bland and seemed budget. It was minimally dressed and dry. The pizza was lovely - an interesting flavour I’ve never experienced before, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. A very annoying feature was the analogue radio that plays the music. The aerial was clearly not placed well or damaged as it was constantly intersparsed with quite loud white noise/hissing. It set the mood weirdly, and demonstrated a lack of care or attention to detail. It was a nice lunch, but I don’t think I’d go again.

Wasn't sure what to expect and turned into a memorable dinner for all the right reasons! We had seafood salad to start followed by carbonara and cannelloni with ricotta and spinach which we thoroughly enjoyed. Only one dessert on the menu, homemade tirimisu and I believe the pictures says it all. The chef/server was tired but helpful and friendly. Huge extra was we ended up being the only guest left so had a private restaurant which as was a Friday night was amazing!!!
