Laura and Marianna are faultless. These ladies are the ONLY ladies you want to look after your wedding. No need to look any further. I got married in August 2019 in Amalfi and from the very first enquiry email, I knew La Calle would make my special day even more special. Any question I had they answered immediately, even on a Sunday and late into the night. Any request I had was met with 'of course no problem'. They organised transfers, our pre wedding dinner and a last minute boat trip. Their cool, calm and collected demeanor meant the organising of my wedding and even the DAY of my wedding was stress free. Which meant I could enjoy the time relaxing with my family and friends. It didn't just feel like Laura and Marianna were providing a service or that we were just 'another wedding' to them. They cared. They cared like they were our lifelong friends, and that is something you will struggle to find anywhere else.

Marianna and Laura are now part of our family! We cannot thank them enough for making our dream come true !!!!! We postponed our wedding twice, last year because of covid and this year because of a family loss. We have been thinking a lot and we did not want to wait for a third year to get married. Hence at the very last minute, we decided to elope in the Amalfi coast. After some research, we found Marianna and Laura who organized our elopement in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS !!!!! It was very short notice but woooooow they are the dream team…. Everything was perfect… the location was like in a fairy tail, the religious ceremony was heartful from the Reverend's blessings to the hymns on the harp and violin, the photo session was so enjoyable with talented and genuine photographers, the private dinner under the stars was the icing on the cake…. All was just like a dream. Thanks a million Marianna and Laura !!!!! We are so grateful for knowing you!

Marianna and Laura at La Calla Events coordinated my wedding in Positano and it was absolutely magical. Marianna made the whole planning process so easy. She was always responsive and any time I emailed her she would get back to me within minutes- day or night. Marianna gave me suggestions for vendors and I would choose which I like the best and then from there she handled all of the communication. This made for stress free wedding planning on my part as the bride. Bc they are local to the Amalfi Coast and have been doing this for such a long time they know all of the best local vendors and know how to make everything seamless. I am one happy newlywed!

Marianna is very responsive and wonderful to work with! Despite the time difference, she was responding early in the morning and late in the evenings. She is such a hard worker and clearly cares about her couples. I'm pretty certain Marianna can plan a wedding in her sleep, she has so much experience and is on top of everything. LaCalla is a great choice for Italian destination weddings!

Miracles included, as standard...! It was just 10 days before the date of our Wedding that Agata and I finally got news that our Marriage Ceremony in Ravello could legally proceed. While Covid posed an ever-changing, permanent threat to our plans, the risks and challenges posed by Covid paled into insignificance when compared to the gargantuan effort required to secure the requisite legal documentation, specifically a “Nulla Osta” for the Bride, and also for the Groom. The complications are easily explained. Basically, protocols and procedures to secure a Nulla Osta differ widely from country to country, and in our case (Poland/Ireland) were paradoxically conflicted. On many occasions, Agata and I simply did not believe that our Wedding would, even could, take place at all. The fact that it did can only be attributed to Marianna and Laura, who between them are, the collective brilliance at La Calla Wedding Planners. The 8-month window we had to obtain this documentation was hardly sufficient. It would not have been, had it not been for the ever-present advice, direction, support and encouragement of Marianna and Laura, who were constantly available to inject optimism, hope and belief, in the many moments when it was easy to believe that Nulla Osta’s were an impossibility to acquire. While not La Calla’s remit to secure Nulla Osta’s, without their assistance, we could not have navigated through the far more complex, stressful and at times infuriating, processes that neither Agata nor I had ever contemplated. All the while, however, Marianna and Laura provided the calming, positive influence and support we needed, forever rational in their approach, supportive of our efforts, even when situations were anything but ‘rational’. Without their 22 years’ experience, their constant assistance and guidance, their knowledge, professional local relationships, tact, and undentable positive attitude, our Wedding simply would not have taken place. Their responsiveness is unparalleled, with virtually instantaneous replies to all communications no matter the time, day or night, weekends included. While the relief of securing “permission” for our Wedding to proceed was indescribable, the daunting tasks of finalising plans for the entirely of the Wedding Ceremony and Reception Dinner remained. We need not have worried, however. Everything had been planned with precision by Marianna and Laura, as we had previously discussed, and in the 10 days that remained, what resources were on ‘stand-by’ were engaged, and everything was seamlessly executed by La Calla, including: all arrangements with the Wedding Venue and Reception Venue; guest travel to/from airports; transportation for the Bride/Groom, and Guests, on the Wedding Day; exquisite Floral Arrangements (...especially Agata’s hand-bouquet, and table centre-pieces) all “appeared” just at the right moments; an absolute affable, and very capable photographer (Enrico Capuano – who we could not recommended more highly) arrived, and captured so many beautiful memories of our Special Day; and due to inclement weather on the Wedding Day itself, a planned outdoor visit to Villa Rufolo was replaced by impromptu cocktails in Ravello’s most renowned 5 Star Hotel, without advance notification or booking, all arranged by La Calla on the spur-of-the-moment. Such is Marianna’s and Laura’s capability...! In short, everything on our Wedding Day exceeded our wildest expectations. Most importantly, though, and what makes La Calla so special is that everything is planned for you by two of the loveliest, most delightful, and most sincere people you could ever meet. With genuine Italian warmth, more than anything else, Marianna and Laura really care. That is ...they really, really, care...! So, if you are thinking of holding your Wedding on the Amalfi Coast, be assured that in La Calla’s very capable and very caring hands, your Special Day will be even more special than you could ever imagine.
