In 10 minuti Dino ha confezionato i bellissimi sandaletti in pelle dorata che mi stanno accompagnando in questa calda estate. La sua botteguccia è un gioiello. Le sue creazioni delle opere d'arte, soprattutto i sandali gioiello con la frutta e le libellule. Must Have!
 Dino is wonderfully likeable as well as a master of Positano sandalwood. In 10 minutes Dino has made the beautiful golden leather sandals that are accompanying me in this hot summer. His shop is a jewel. His creations of works of art, especially the jeweled sandals with fruit and dragonflies. Must Have!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place gets 5 stars for quality and selection of handmade sandals but 3 stars for the service. I had read about La Botteguccia da Giovanni in a Lonely Planet book about traveling to the Amalfi Coast and I was incredibly excited about getting handmade sandals from Giovanni himself. While I'm very happy with the sandals that I purchased, the experience was less than memorable. Giovanni was on his phone the entire time I was in the store. I didn't receive any attention from him. He didn't offer any suggestions, talk at all about the shoe making business, or anything. I merely pointed to a pair of shoes I liked that were on display, told him I was a size 40, and he gave me the shoes to try on. The experience didn't live up to my expectations which was disappointing but I am pleased with my sandals.
