Excellent place in Santo Stefano d 'Aveto. The platter of mixed cold cuts is excellent The cakes / pies produced by them are excellent. Outdoor terrace with a view. Recommended.

Offre tanto, dal semplice bar a aperitivi, ristorazione, partite di calcio in diretta, gelati freschi, video giochi, biliardi, calcio balilla. Il servizio è davvero molto cordiale. Valentino è molto disponibile e gentile. Anche gli altri dello staff non sono da meno. Rather old-fashioned from the 80s. It remains one of the main meeting places in Santo Stefano d'Aveto for young and old alike. It offers a lot, from a simple bar to aperitifs, restaurants, live football matches, fresh ice creams, video games, billiards, table football. The service is really very friendly. Valentino is very helpful and kind. The other staff are also not far behind.

C	Carmen Bruni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qualsiasi cosa riconduce alla montagna mi attira a sé, quindi non potevo non fermarmi a "La baita". Purtroppo non è stata una bella esperienza, però. Non c'era nessuno ad accoglierci e non sapevamo dove sederci. Quando è arrivato il momento di ordinare, un uomo è venuto al tavolo e ci ha chiesto... "cosa volete?" Senza nemmeno farci visionare un menù o un foglio con le pietanze. Nessuna vetrina che esponesse tramezzini o cose del genere. Alla fine abbiamo preso un panino con mozzarella e pomodoro... Il pane era così stantio che come minimo era vecchio di 4/5 giorni, anche se in cucina hanno avuto perlomeno l'accortezza di scaldarlo per renderlo più mangiabile. Ciliegina sulla torta, il pagamento andava fatto esclusivamente in contanti perché non erano provvisti di Pos. Ho dovuto mettermi in macchina, andare a prelevare in una banca lì vicino e tornare... Tre panini, una cocacola e una bottiglietta d'acqua 18 euro. Mi spiace ma è un no su tutti i fronti. Anything that leads back to the mountain draws me to it, so I couldn't stop at "La baita". Unfortunately it was not a good experience, however. There was no one to greet us and we didn't know where to sit. When it was time to order, a man came to the table and asked us ... "what do you want?" Without even showing us a menu or a sheet with the dishes. No showcases displaying sandwiches or anything like that. In the end we had a sandwich with mozzarella and tomato ... The bread was so stale that at least it was 4/5 days old, even if in the kitchen they had at least the foresight to heat it to make it more eatable. To top it off, the payment had to be done exclusively in cash because they didn't have a Pos. I had to get in the car, pick up at a nearby bank and go back ... Three sandwiches, a cocacola and a bottle of water 18 euros. I'm sorry but it's a no on all fronts.

Molto puliti i servizi , per i quali si deve richiedere apposita chiave. ( Non facilmente accessibili perché in fondo a una ripida scala). Prezzi onesti, lo consiglio a chiunque vada a Santo Stefano . Non ho provato il.ristorante, che sembrava però molto invitante. I stopped in this place before and after a long and beautiful trip. Very kind, great coffee and brioches. The services are very clean, for which a special key must be requested. (Not easily accessible because at the bottom of a steep staircase). Fair prices, I recommend it to anyone going to Santo Stefano. Didn't try the restaurant, which looked very inviting though.

It's not a restaurant but you can easily put together a meal of the varied snacks and desserts which are on offer. Staff are unobtrusive and friendly and there is the ample choice of inside and outside seating. An alpine flavour to the decor and a high standard food and hygiene. Good selection of wines and beers on offer. Recommended.
