In tutte queste cose c'è una gran cura e ... la cura è nella cura. La libreria è soprattutto composta delle persone che vi lavorano. In questa libreria lavora una persona. Difficile contare quante persone ci vivono, perché dal momento in cui entrate scoprite che ci vivete anche voi. E' un posto così ... vivo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una libreria molto curata. È vero che chi gestisce un'attività commerciale come questa in qualche modo è un appassionato ma, qui c'è di più. C'è l'atmosfera delle piccole librerie indipendenti così numerose nel nord Europa, c'è la competenza di chi sa consigliare e suggerire dei testi che, non sempre, sono conosciuti come i classici o i bestsellers. I libri, qui, sono i protagonisti. Ho apprezzato la professionalità nella narrativa per ragazzi che, a mio avviso, sono difficilissimi da scegliere (a parte i classici dalla lista molto lunga). Un piccolo spazio, un gioiello.
A very well-kept library. It is true that those who run a business like this are somehow passionate but, here is more. There is the atmosphere of the small independent bookstores so numerous in Northern Europe, there is the competence of those who know how to advise and suggest texts that, not always, are known as classics or bestsellers. Here the books are the protagonists. I appreciated the professionalism in children's fiction which, in my opinion, are very difficult to choose (apart from the classics from the very long list). A small space, a jewel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ difficile uscire da L'Armadilla senza portarsi dietro (almeno) un libro. molto facile entrarci, invece. e non è sola questione di varcare una soglia. qui si tratta di accoglienza. quella di chi ci lavora e quella dell'ambiente (pre)disposto a ricevervi. gli oggetti (non solo composti di pagine e copertine e immagini e colori. chi si aspetta di trovare origami di barchette azzurre in libreria, oggigiorno?) accuratamente posizionati su mensole e scaffali, sembrano parlarvi. e raccontano una (tante?) storia. diversa per ognuno dei lettori che hanno richiamato, ricamando telepaticamente il loro tragitto fino a sé. esperienza personale: entro per comprare tre libri visti precedentemente in vetrina ed esco con altri tre completamente diversi. un posto di rara bellezza. coltiviamola.
difficult to leave L'Armadilla without carrying (at least) a book. very easy to get into instead. and it is not just a question of crossing a threshold. here it is about reception. that of those who work there and the environment (pre) willing to receive you. objects (not only composed of pages and covers and images and colors. who expects to find origami of blue boats in bookstores today?) carefully positioned on shelves and shelves, they seem to speak to you. and tell a (many?) story. different for each of the readers they have called, telepathically embroidering their journey to itself. personal experience: I go in to buy three books previously seen in the window and go out with three completely different ones. a place of rare beauty. Let us cultivate.
