Ho preso un antipasto misto e di buono c'era solo l'insalata del roero e la frittata, la carne cruda era tiepida (io la preferisco più fresca) e di qualità non ottima, il vitello tonnato era secco e nella salsa tonnata c'era troppa maionese e poco tonno. Gli agnolotti erano scotti e insipidi, la coppa brasata non era assolutamente brasata perché era dura, ho subito capito che è stata cotta ad una temperatura troppo alta e per pochissimo tempo. Il bonet era un budino e non un bonet. Mi dispiace... mi aspettavo molto meglio dato le recensioni positive e dato la zona dove solitamente si va per mangiare bene... Dovreste metterci più cuore nel fare il vostro lavoro! Sia nel servizio che nel cibo si sente che non c'è! Buona continuazione. I didn't eat well ... unfortunately. Inizio promettente con estrema cortesia e poi...la catastrofe. Ho ordinato un antipasto ed i miei famigliari un primo, dopo una piccola attesa ho iniziato a consumare da solo in quanto i primi sono giunti dopo 40 minuti. Di solito si dovrebbe poter pranzare tutti insieme.. Il mio antipasto era poverissimo e privo di fantasia, due pezzi di salciccia cruda con una piccola porzione di carne cruda mal condita e un ciottolino con melanzane e zucchini, purtroppo il menù non offriva altre alternative. Il primo era scollato da tutto quello che si può considerare piemontese, tajarin "pallidi" l'uovo?.…ragù bianco in pochi pezzi di carne trita inoltre tutto poco cotto. Mi sono salvato con una buona tagliata ed un buon nebbiolo della casa però nell'insieme è stato estremamente deludente Hello everyone, on a Sunday in July I stopped in this trattoria with my family to enjoy a "Piedmontese" meal. Personale molto attento e preparato, prezzo contenuto, locale accogliente e pulito, rispetto delle norme per il Covid e... la punta di diamante... lo chef!! Personaggio solare e simpatico, un pezzo di vera tradizione e ospitalità Piemontese!! Complimenti anche per i vini Massucco!! Una bella sorpresa. Continuate così. Fantastic!! Simpatici e gentilissimi, nonostante io abbia fatto una richiesta che andava giustamente contro al volere del cuoco (non amo la carne al sangue e ho chiesto di cuocere molto la tagliata). Locale piccolo ma molto carino. In estate lo spazio fuori è più ampio e caratteristico. Sicuramente da provare, soprattutto nella bella stagione. Good food and great service. Nice and very kind, even though I made a request that went rightly against the cook's wishes (I don't like rare meat and I asked to cook the tagliata a lot). Small but very nice place. In summer, the space outside is larger and more characteristic. Definitely to try, especially in the summer.

Splendida serata tra colleghe di lavoro, mai ci saremmo aspettati un simile servizio e così tanta rivisitazione dei piatti della cucina classica piemontese in una trattoria! Il locale è situato nel centro del paese di Montaldo Roero, davanti alla chiesa, con la possibilità di poter mangiare anche nella piazza centrale del paese (credo però solamente nel periodo estivo). La qualità del cibo l'ho trovata davvero ottima e anche molto abbondante. Il personale sempre molto cortese ed attento! Un posto in cui tornei sicuramente altre volte e in occasioni differenti! Consugliato di cuore oltre che di pancia. A splendid Friday evening immersed in the Roero hills! The restaurant is located in the center of the town of Montaldo Roero, in front of the church, with the possibility of being able to eat even in the central square of the town (but I think only in the summer). I found the quality of the food really excellent and also very abundant. The staff are always very courteous and attentive! Ci ha fatto mangiare benissimo e abbiamo bevuto un ottimo vino consigliato da lui, un Roero Massucco. Prezzi assolutamente nella norma, anzi un tantino più bassi della norma. Ottimo posto, consigliatissimo. Found by chance by looking on the internet, a sudden choice was never more correct. Cozy atmosphere, friendly and well-trained staff, very, very nice chef.
