Walked in without a reservation and received a very warm greeting and shown to a nice table. Superb service and outstanding food. Excellent wine suggestions by the sommelier. Highly recommend! Would happily return.

Got the 90 euro tasting menu, and I’d recommend it. Everything was good, and while there weren’t that many courses the portions were large. My favorite was probably the turbot, mushrooms, and foie gras: a lovely trio of equal parts to create a symphony of umami. The mushroom’s cream was delicious. The Mars dessert is one of the most creative desserts I’ve had. The presentation reminds you of Mars, and this sense of rough unexplored terrain is conveyed through a surprising popping candy in the chocolate shell. The inner core is half caramel mousse and half passion fruit cream, which come together very well with the chocolate. Crumble on the outside perhaps represents the surface of Mars for a great addition of texture.

Very elegant and refined restaurant. Service good and attentive. The food was very good and each dish was excellent (don’t miss the rabbit tris) however, they all had the same (or very similar) sauce reduction which felt a bit repetitive and a bit boring on the pallet. As an overall experience- very good

We ate here on a Monday evening. We arrived before opening and for the first hour we were the only patrons. Apparently Americans eat far earlier than civilized people. :) This is one of the most inviting high end restaurants - the layout and staff make it almost seem like you're in a friendly living room rather than in a restaurant. The tables are spaced quite generously, so even after the tables were filled, it still felt very private. Service was impeccable and everyone went out of their way to accommodate our requests. The sommelier had excellent English and a great sense of humor. We did not get the tasting menu - we shared a number of plates among us, and enjoyed a wide variety of dishes. While there were many flavors that were unexpected and novel, other than the rabbit liver ravioli, none were discordant or jarring. Even that, while unusual, we were glad to have tasted. The white truffle spaghetti was possibly the best I've ever eaten. Although their spaghetti with chili pepper and squid was a close second. The risotto was impeccable and delightful. The meats were presented in new and novel ways with unexpected flavor combinations that were immensely satisfying. The veal sweetbreads were rich and transcendent as meat dishes go. By the time dessert came I didn't think they could do any better, but all of the desserts, in particular, the tiramisu and the Moon were the best of the best. Our meal took over three hours, but the pacing was excellent. I never felt rushed, nor did I ever feel like there was too much time between courses. By the end, we were all completely satisfied and delighted. L'Alchimia is not inexpensive, but I think, for a restaurant of this caliber, that it is an excellent value.

Me and my partner went for the tasting menu. The food is amazing, especially the bread and the fish with foie gras we had. However, as the evening got busier, the staffs were overwhelmed by the influx of people they had to serve. The restaurant was full with guests that evening. The service was still great but compared to other Michelin restaurants we have been, they probably need more staff.

A must go in Milan! Incredible food and highly attentive staff. The presentation, flavor, texture was all on point! Portions are small- definitely go for the prefix menu over a la carte to try as much as possible. It is pricey, but 100% worth it!

The restaurant was recommended by my friend, who has visited more than 80 Michelin restaurants in the world. So my husband and I decided to have our first dinner in Milan there. The fact proved that we made the right choice. Both of us chose the L’Alchimia Menu 100. High quality food and friendly service from beginning to end. Finally, they gave us a surprise of two desserts, and my favorite is the one that looks like white pebbles. It’s actually white chocolate with black berry jam inside. It has a very fresh taste with fruit aroma. If you taste it very carefully, you can even taste the aroma of lemon. Bravo.
