★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have breakfast with a krapfen in this place every time I go to Ostia, it is a true institution in Ostia. There are various flavors, even with cream, chocolate and jam and are always warm and delicious.

They had various fillings: Chocolate, creme, apricot
This was the single best don't I've had anywhere in the world! The texture is similar to a beignet, very light and airy. We got there right when they opened at 5pm when they were fresh. An an absolute must visit! Sorry there's no photo, but the donut didn't survive long enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An old bar that sells the best doughnuts, it had a space ship that brought them from the kitchen but they can not use it now due to health and safety (though they will show you how it works if asked).
No seating but if you want to rest go here for a doughnut and then nip across the road for a cafe.

The pastry with bar is in the main square of "Isola Pedonale" and is open all days and close all Wednesdays!! The secret and unique recepy makes these krapfens delicious and always soft and light!! Perfect for breakfast or for a pastry anytime!! The staff and the family is always friendly and spontaneous!!!
